“You aren’t very scary, you know,” he murmured, addressing her breasts.

Suddenly, his finger was tracing the neckline of her shirt.

“Hands off, creep!” There wasn’t much she could do in an elevator, holding a box with one arm. She swatted at his hand but his other one cupped her and rubbed her nipple with the thumb.

“I said don’t touch me!” She tried to turn away, but the hand followed, still cupping her, the thumb still rubbing.

“Oh, c’mon, Coco, you have such pretty tits. I can imagine sucking on them all night long.”

The elevator became a torture chamber. She glanced around their tight confines wildly, taking in the electronic display. Just three more floors to go, but she’d be dead from disgust and violation by the time they reached the ground floor.

Her mind wound back to the police station, to the big men cursing and fighting, the chairs flying. In her mind she saw Dan’s huge frame bearing down on her, and Cade leaning forward and slamming into him with a shoulder to the chest.

Her brain gripped the image and held tight. She switched her box to her left hip, took a deep breath, and rammed her right shoulder into Aaron with all the power she had in her body.

She was a slight woman, but then Aaron wasn’t a big man. He hit the wall with athump. His head connected with the paneling with athonk. His glasses fell on the floor.

She lifted her foot and stomped on them making good on her threat to break them.

The doors opened. Aaron looked at her with a vacant expression as if he wasn't quite home. His arm swept in an odd searching motion trying to grab at her.

Coco jumped out of the elevator.

The words she never uttered in her life formed in her mind, and slid down her tongue, fizzling until she could contain them no longer.

“Fuck you, Aaron! Go to hell!”
