She picked up the sheet ready to throw it away, but her hand wouldn't obey what her brain was telling it to do. Her entire bodyrecoiledat the prospect of crumpling the paper up and tossing it into the wastebasket. It felt outright wrong. She couldn't do it.
Coco looked at the portrait again. This rough sketch was a little more than an outline. There was a lot of work to be done if she was serious at recreating his face in realistic detail.
Carefully, she slid the sheet into her purse to take home. She’d keep working on it until she got it absolutely perfect.
