Matar's smile wavered a little. "I can make you some of that tea later so you can try it."
"I'd like that."
"You can make it for all of us," I barged in, finding this conversation a little too Matar-and-Trish-sided. "Now that you've proven that you can cook, you'll be making a lot more meals for us."
I laughed mentally at his disgruntled expression. He'd not expected that. But if Trish liked his baking, then he'd have to do more of it. We wanted a happy mate.
"What kind of food will they have at the resort planet?" Trish asked while eyeing the cake, clearly tempted to take another piece. I picked one up and held it to her lips. With a grin, she took a bite while looking right into my eyes. They positively twinkled with temptation. If she didn't look so exhausted, I'd bend her over right now and klat her from behind while she was eating that cake. My cocks ached. Soon.
"All sorts," I replied, pushing away the thoughts of ravishing her. "Both local and interplanetary delicacies. We've got an all-inclusive package, so we can try all the restaurants we want. I've read there's room service too." I gave her a wink. "We'll make use of that for sure."
She took my thumb into her lush mouth and sucked it. Gah. Was she trying to make me lose control?
"I'm looking forward to that," she purred and gently nibbled on my thumb.

From above,Labeari didn't look very special. Lots of pink and purple. As a circumbinary planet, it had two suns, one of them currently blinding me through the windows of the shuttle. Labeari had been chosen as a resort planet for this reason - among others, like having no major predators that could attack tourists - because it meant it was always day on one part of the planet and always night on another. Perfect for species who needed one or the other, or for people who simply wanted to party in the dark thirty IG hours a day.
We'd parked the Jade at one of the seven space stations orbiting Labeari and had stepped onto one of the first-class shuttles reserved for all-inclusive guests like us.
We had the shuttle all for ourselves, with one attendant for the four of us. He was taller than me and had to slouch slightly to not hit the ceiling. His uniform didn't leave much to the imagination and I hated to think that all the staff on Labeari were dressed like that. I'd have to blindfold Trish to keep my jealousy in check. Or simply not leave our hotel.
I took a sip from my cocktail. Delicious. I'd have to find out the name of it so I could order more in the future. The alcohol content was just right for a Kardarian, while it would be way too strong for Trish. She's been given a different drink that was hopefully more appropriate for delicate humans. As fun as it was to get her drunk, I wanted her to experience the joys of the resort planet with a sober head.
"Landing in five IG minutes, please take a seat and strap in." The pilot's voice came through the intercom with a crackle. It was a universal fact that intercoms across the galaxy distorted the voice and came with unwanted noise. It wasn't any different for the comms system on the Jade.
Trish took my free hand. "I'm so excited. What do you think the sea will be like? Does purple water feel the same as that on Earth?"
"We fill find out," I said calmly, although her excitement was contagious. After all the troubles of the past weeks, it was a relief to have nothing but relaxation to look forward to. Lots of food, sun and sex. That's what a honeymoon was all about, after all.
"It will do wonders for your skin," the attendant said, smiling at Trish. "You'll look less pale in no time."
Trish glared at him. "Are you saying I need a tan?"
The attendant looked taken aback. "No, I meant to be more colourful like your mates. If you spend long enough in the sea of Labeari, your skin will turn purple. It's not permanent, of course, unless you want it to be. There are certain drugs you can take while here to make sure the pigments will stick. I know someone you can get them from, if you're interested."
"We're not," I growled. "Trish is beautiful the way she is." Besides, it might wash away our mating marks on her belly and thighs. No way. It showed the universe that she was ours and prevented anyone else from trying to claim her.
"Thanks, darling." Trish smiled at me. "Although it will be fun to see what I look like in purple. Will my hair change colour too?"
The attendant nodded. "Your hair is too dark to become fully purple, but it will certainly get a purple sheen, maybe some highlights."
Trish laughed. "I've always wanted to dye my hair, but it was too expensive. Such a nice, unexpected benefit."
I didn't mention that I liked her hair how it was. It reminded me of the colour of haram bark, the most resilient material on Kardar. Just like her. Resilient, strong, yet also supple and flexible when needed.
"You better hand me those glasses," the attendant said. "And then enjoy the view. We're landing at the main airport and the approach is simply spectacular."
I didn't look at the outside. My gaze was fixed on Trish, watching as she turned to stare through the windows, her lips slightly parted, her cheeks pink, her eyes wide with anticipation and excitement. I loved her so much it hurt.

The first thing I noticed was the smell. Roses mixed with vanilla. I breathed in deep. Delicious. That scent made me hungry. Luckily, several small buffet tables lined the entrance hall of the space port. I grabbed a handful of what looked like nuts and hurried after the guys. Our baggage would be brought straight to our hotel. It was so weird to have people around to do stuff like that for us. We were being catered for front and centre and would be for the next three weeks. I'd leave Labeari as a spoilt princess who needed her own set of servants. I chuckled at the thought of turning the Jade into a version of this colourful, exuberant place. Not happening.
When we stepped outside the spaceport building, I couldn't help but stop and stare. A stone-paved avenue led towards the sea. Small market stalls were set up at both sides with vendors shouting their offerings. I'd thought I'd seen a lot of different species at Kitt-Y-6, but that had been nothing compared to the variety here.
