Don’t let him kiss you. Don’t let him.

“Stop fighting me,” he hisses.

He grabs onto my chin and turns my head toward him. With dread building, I watch as his face comes closer and closer to mine.

I have nowhere to go. This is going to happen whether I want it to or not. The only thing I can do is close my eyes and pray that this ends soon and that when it’s over, Fang will still want me.

My breathing becomes more erratic as my vision starts to blur. I’m panicking. I can’t breathe. I can’t…

Before his lips can touch mine, though, the door bursts open.

The last thing I remember before everything goes black is the sound of shouting.

Help. Help has arrived.

After Dex told us where they were, it took us thirty minutes to get to the location.

His bike is still here, which means so are they.

Fuck, I don’t even want to think about how he got her on his bike after pulling her out of her car.

His bike sits by itself, not another car in sight, in the parking lot of a rundown motel. Sitting right out in the open like he didn’t even try to hide it. Only one room has the blinds drawn, making it the obvious answer as to where he’s hiding.

“Slow down,” Savage hisses as I jump out of the truck.

When I dropped my bike in my rush to get to Cami’s car, I fucked it up real good. So much so Prospect One had to bring the truck for me. That and because we didn’t know what condition we would find Cami in.

Ignoring Savage, I rush up the stairs. As soon as I get to the door, I act on instinct and kick the door open. It gives right away and goes crashing against the wall. What I see, though, has me seeing red.

I rush forward and grab Biggy off the bed and away from my girl that he was crowding.

“What the hell!” he cries out.

With nothing but sheer rage flowing through me, I turn us and propel him toward the window. His head and shoulders break through the glass. I pull him out and slam him against the wall.

“Why?” I hiss.

Biggy’s eyes narrow, and he spits in my face. “You know why.”

“Tell me!” I yell in his face.

“Because you took everything from me!” he screams back.

“Your issues are with me, not her,” I tell him as I shove him into the wall.

“If I can’t have everything I want, neither can you.”

His words send me over the edge. I hit him. Again and again and again. At some point we move from the wall to the floor, but I don’t stop.

He needs to pay.

He hurt my girl.

All because years ago I stopped him from raping one of the girls in Vegas. All because I spoke out and he was punished.

“Brother, you need to stop. He’s gone,” Savage says as he places his hand on my shoulder.

Bracing my hands on the floor, I straddle Biggy’s body. It’s done. He can never hurt anyone ever again. He can never hurt Cami ever again.
