“What?”

Venus points between my legs. “It looks like you could use some help. I wouldn’t mind.”

I look down and wince. You can barely make out my half-hard cock through my jeans. Fucking perfect.

“I’ll pass,” I tell her coolly. “Now get to work.”

Her face scrunches up. “What? You think you’re too good for me or something? I got tricks that would blow your mind.”

“Last warning, Venus. I’ve made it clear from the jump that I have no interest in you. You need to get it through your head that this will never happen. If you try your shit again, I’m going to let you go for harassment. Now get out of my way, I’m busy here.”

Venus huffs and stomps off.

My eyes move back to the stage. Cami spins around the pole and comes to a stop facing the stage. Once again she drops down, legs spread wide. Right as the music ends, she drops her chin to her chest and the lights dim. Even in the poor lighting, you can see how fast she’s breathing.

The men and even the women in the crowd lose their minds as they start tossing more money onto the stage. Someone even whistles as she gets up and walks off the stage. Clark comes outand gathers up all the money she collected and rushes it back to her.

Only when a new song starts to play do I get up.

Before heading to my office, I stop at the bar. “You guys good up here?” I yell over the music.

Mandy nods. “All good.”

“Where’s Erin?” I ask about one of the other bartenders that’s on tonight.

“Changing a keg. She will be back in a minute.”

Nodding, I leave the floor and head to my office. As soon as the door shuts behind me, the room falls silent. You can still faintly hear music playing from the floor, but it’s nowhere near as loud as it was.

Rounding my desk, I drop into my chair and rub my hands over my face. Okay, it’s time to push Cami from my mind and get to work.

Leaning forward, I grab the pad of paper off my desk and look at the list I have going of things I need to get done.

Make the schedule.

Approve time off.

Payroll.

Put out an ad for another dancer.

Fix light bulb.

Liquor inventory.

Place liquor order.

Shit, this is going to take a minute. Most of it’s shit that I need to do, but there are a few things I can pawn off onto someone else.

I pull out my phone and shoot off a quick text. Setting my phone down, I turn on my computer monitor and get to work. A few minutes later there is a knock on the door.

“Come in.”

Prospect Two peeks his head into the room. “I was told you needed me?”

“Yeah, I need you to change the light bulb right outside the back door and for you to do the liquor inventory.”

He frowns but nods. “No problem. Do we have a ladder here or anything?”
