“He seems to think she is club property because she works for the club.”
I quirk an eyebrow. “None of the girls at the strip club are club girls. Not if they don’t want to be. A few have come over here for parties and such, and that is their choice. When they are at my strip club, though, they are my employees. Not the club’s. They aren’t some plaything for the brothers to come in and harass. If they want to spend money on them and take them to the back room, then that is up to the girl if they want that money, but there are no freebies. No coming to the club and thinking they can just get with the girls because I employed them. If you are looking for that from them, then I don’t think I’m right for this club anymore. I refuse to force any of those women under my care to become club pussy. Especially Cami.”
Savage is quiet a moment. I think he might actually have lost his mind and agreed with this fucker.
Then he bursts out laughing as he claps. “Bravo. I want to hear that speech again. You sounded like a real leader there. I like it.”
I shake my head. “What the fuck, brother?”
“I had to see what you would say. I’m glad you didn’t disappoint. Biggy is making waves. He did petition me to report you for breaking the rules, but I informed him that I agreed with you protecting our talent. That club is starting to bring in some good, clean money. It’s what we need to do to stay off the feds’ radar. Besides, I like the idea that they are looking at the club like it is our illegitimate business when it’s not. I won’t let some fucker from another chapter come here and try to change that.”
“Well, he wants to be part of our chapter now,” I sneer.
“He does, but it’s not going to happen. Out of respect, we are giving him a shot, but he won’t get the votes. We have to give him the full thirty days. There are some rules we can break, but others we need to stick to. Besides, I called Mist this morning. He isn’t keen on having Biggy back. Seems he has been causing issues up there too. It’s why he was sent on the run. He was told to straighten out his act or find somewhere to go. If it doesn’t work with us, he is going to be exiled to nomad status,” Savage tells me.
I wish we could kill him and get it over with. The asshole is a shit stain on the Lotus name. He should have never been allowed into the club in the first place.
“I can see the look in your eye. Don’t do anything stupid. I informed him that Cami is off-limits as she is being pursued by another brother. He should leave her alone if he is serious about wanting a place here.”
“He’s not,” I spit out. “He won’t stay here as long as I am here. He’s always had an issue with me. He probably went throughhow many chapters before he came here? Why didn’t he try to join one of them? No, he chose to try to patch over here because he saw me. We need to watch him. He’s up to no good.”
Savage is thoughtful. “Do you think he is working against the club?”
I shake my head. “No, he loves this club. He’s working against me. I bet he was hoping you would reprimand me and take the strip club from me. He probably thinks he deserves to run it. He wants my title too. Or any title at all, really. That’s all he has ever wanted. Power.”
“So nothing I can bring up to the others to cut him out really. Keep an eye on him. I’ll tell the others to as well. Dex has already been monitoring him from afar, but nothing suspicious so far other than he is a little like a frat boy.”
I laugh. “That’s a great term for him. A little slimy douchebag who can’t take no for an answer. A frat boy.”
Savage laughs with me. “Stick it out for a couple more weeks. He will be gone soon enough. Maybe keep Cami away from him too. I’ve told him to stay out of your club if he can’t follow the rules, but you know I can’t ban him from there without just cause.”
“Happy is with her when I can’t be,” I tell him.
He nods. “Smart. Go ahead and head out.”
“Thanks.”
I stand, heading toward the door when Savage calls out, “Hey, Fang?”
“Yeah?” I turn and look at him.
“If he gives you a reason, take it without hesitation. I’ll have your back.”
I nod, understanding. Savage doesn’t like the guy either, but we have rules to follow. He just gave me the opening I needed to take care of things if it comes to it.
Let’s hope he moves on before it goes that far.
Ifeel energized lately. Like I am floating above the world, almost. I have never been so happy in my life. I feel like I could conquer the world without even breaking a sweat.

“Oh look, it’s the teacher’s pet.” Venus snorts as I walk into the dressing room.
She’s just done her stint on the side stage as I did mine on the main stage. I did amazing, but I didn’t see too many guys at hers.
