“Great, another pussy that’s off-limits,” I hear Biggy mutter.

“Biggy is showing his true colors. He’s not respecting the code and making disrespectful comments to Cami and now to me,” Viv tells her.

“You truly have the sense God gave a fucking turkey. Let me give you a tip. If you want to be voted into a club, maybe don’t go around fucking with the old ladies of the club.”

“Whatever. They let pussy run things around here. It’s disgraceful.”

He stalks off, leaving us alone.

Bailey comes over to me, giving me a hug. “You okay?”

“I’m fine. I don’t like that man at all.”

“No one does,” Viv snorts.

“The guys have rules they need to follow. If he wasn’t a patched-in member, he’d already be gone, but he hasn’t done anything to break the rules yet. Toe the line, yes, but outright break them? Well, he’s getting closer.” Bailey sighs.

“Maybe I should go,” I tell them.

“Absolutely not. You are a welcome guest here,” Bailey tells me, leading me to the bar.

“Although, if you are here for Fang, they haven’t made it back yet,” Viv adds.

“It’s going to be a late one. You can hang out with us, though. If it gets too late, I have a key to his room,” Bailey tells me.

“You think that would be okay?” I ask, unsure.

“Of course. I’m surprised he hasn’t given you a key yourself. I only have one because Savage runs the place,” Bailey says.

“I don’t want to overstep.”

Bailey smiles. “You haven’t had your ceremony yet, but you’re an old lady now. It’s practically official. You belong here as much as any of the brothers.”

“Really? I didn’t realize.”

“What did you think it meant when you wore his jacket on stage? That was badass, by the way. I heard all about it from Happy.” Viv laughs.

“Me too.”

I frown. “Happy is a gossip.”

“Must be all them girls he’s been stuck hanging around,” Bailey teases.

I laugh. “Good point. I guess I knew it was making a statement, but I didn’t realize it was that. So I’m his old lady now?”

Bailey nods, “It will be official when we have your party.”

I smile, looking down. I really like the sound of that.

“So should we celebrate? Viv, break out the good stuff.”

The rest of the evening I spend with two women who are quickly becoming my first and only friends.

It’s one of the best nights of my life.

Tonight was a tough one.

We don’t normally run into issues when running, but one of the Medina Cartel rivals got word about tonight’s run. It was hairy there for a minute, but we made it out and to the drop-off in one piece.
