“Come for me, Haven,” I whisper, and she breaks apart with a scream as I bite down on her neck, sucking my mark onto her skin.
The way she thrashes in my arms, her pussy clamping tightly around my fingers, has me desperate to rip her pants down and fuck her over this counter. It takes all my focus to stop, biting the inside of my cheek to hold myself back.
I wish I could stay here with her, help her, fuck her, keep her.
She slumps back on me, boneless, so I pick her up, sinking back down onto the floor, with her cradled in my arms. Her dazed, aqua eyes peer up at me, and I’m hit with so much love for this woman, if I wasn’t already sitting on the floor, it would bring me to my knees.
She watches as I suck her juices off my fingers with wide eyes, biting her damn sexy lip.
“You taste better than any fucking cake. I could spend the rest of my life eating you out.”
She flushes at my words as she curls further into me, almost purring like a kitten.
“Do you feel better, Sprinks?”
She nods into my chest, hermmmvibrating through me.
“I’ve taken the day after tomorrow off to help you deliver the cakes for the wedding. And next week we can celebrate Valentine's Day by showing you the bakery. We’re almost done.”
Orgasm forgotten, she sits bolt upright, almost crushing my dick again in her excitement.
“What, really?” Her wide-eyed elated expression hits me square in the chest. I’ll do anything, give up anything, to keep this look on her face forever.
“Really, babe. I need to head back to the firehouse now, though. Are you sure you’re feeling better?”
She grips my jaw in her hands and kisses me with such intensity it takes my breath away.
“I’m feeling much better, thanks to my big brawny fireman. Thank you, Axel.”
With one last kiss, I stand us up off the floor and leave my girl to her work.
Women talk about their biological clocks, and I have to wonder if it’s anything like the constant ticking echoing in my head.
I have two weeks left to convince this girl to be mine forever.

Thanks to Axel’s little motivational interlude,I managed to rally and finish the Merryweather wedding cakes.
They opted for three different flavors across two cakes.
The main showstopper was huge. Ten tiers, alternating between vanilla confetti and lemon flavors. Iced in all white fondant, monogrammed with their initials, and I added hand-sculpted white and gold fondant orchids cascading down.
The second was a naked red velvet cake, decorated with red roses.
Axel had been a total angel and helped me deliver them this past weekend and thankfully they loved them. They haven’t stopped raving about them.
Since then, there’s been a media frenzy surrounding their cakes and the reopening of the bakery. I won’t lie, it has my palms breaking out in a sweat.
I was hoping tosoft launchthe reopening, ease myself into it, but this has made that impossible.
It’s become a very public declaration that Baker Blake’s—yes, that’s his real name—daughter is back in town torun Sweet Bakes. And thanks to my very minor celebrity status from back home, people are talking about traveling to Sweet Haven to review and compare it to my dad’s.
I’ve barely slept the last few nights, stressing over the very public risk of crashing and burning when I reopen and worrying about people’s opinions.
But I’m trying to push all that out of my head because today is Valentine's Day.
