“You sure do. I’ll bring the truck by to pick up everything you need, then we’ll collect the bike from your place. You still got the same number?”
“Yup.”
He held out his hand. “See you there later.”
Almost dazed, I shook it. Huh? Looked like I was working out of Maddox’s garage.
He walked away, leaving me to finish collecting what I needed.
Was it really as easy as that for us to be friends again?
If it was, maybe I needed to think about apologizing to Lo.
