“Mi seh that!?” I slap my hand over my mouth.
“Yah,” he plops down.
I scoot over, playing with his hair as he looks up at me. “I don’t know what got into me, but I’m sorry for that, Nickoi... if yuh only know how much I love you, I could never get up and just walk away, even if I tried,” I plant a quick kiss on his lips.
“Ah.”
“And the only reason apart from worrying if somebody else a go take yuh from me, is your safety. Mi nuh wah lose yuh in any way... I don’t want to see you getting hurt, it literally freaks me out. Mi doh wah fi ever rush to a hospital not knowing if you’re alive or not and that’s why I’m curious too. It’s just the love that I have for you but I’mma give you your space. It a go be hard but I promise,” I add and he smirks, hugging my ass.
“Ah... and yuh kno’ how long the breakfast down there fi yuh. Put on this,” he gives me a pair of black silk PJ’s.
Ouu this is cuuute. I smile. “Nickoi, more gifts?”
“Just put that on mon and guh meet Christen,” he chuckles. “She’s the chef.” Him just know mi would a’ ask.
“Okay,” I reply, watching him as he strolls into the bathroom, a whole walking snack. Yum. Once dressed, I fix my hair and make my way down to the kitchen.
“Good morning,” I smile when I spot the lady. “You’re the chef?”
She nods. “Yes I’m Chef Christen and I guess you are Zara,” she gives me a handshake and I smile. Nickoi tell har bout me. I see.
After a while of talking with her, she gives me my breakfast. She made Ackee and salt fish with fried plantains and fried dumplings. Smells so good!
“Thank you,” I smile and she nods. Nickoi joins us not long after and he’s dressed in a matching blue polo suit with just socks.
Sexy as always, my subconscious says.
I smile at him and she gives him his food. “Thanks,” he says looking at me. “You done already mon,” he says and I laugh.
As he eats his food my mind runs on all the gifts that he bought for me especially the Benz. “Mi still cya believe you buy mi a Benz Nickoi, mi feel like it too much,” I smile. He shakes his head.
“Mi nuh think nutt’n too much fi yuh all if mi haffi give you the world, mi a dweet,” he tells me and I blush.
My cheeks heats up. “Yuh always say the sweetest things enuh..”
“Awww... mi know this nuh have a thing fi do with me but a years mi around you and never hear yuh talk to a girl like this. Happy for you both,” Christen chimes in. We look at her and smile.
“Respect man,” a smirk playing on his lips. As she saunters away, he says, “A mi aunty enuh.” What?
“And yuh act so formal?” I ask, stunned.
“She always act so when she a work, a fi har thing that,” he says before he starts eating again.
I scroll through my Instagram killing time and I notice that I have 10k followers now.A cas Nickoi post yuh enuh.
As I scroll through my messages, I see a couple of fake pages cursing me. What the hell? I ignore them and look at Nickoi as he puts down his plate, pulls the fridge, and returns with his Desert Clarks.
“Weh yuh just tek deh Clarks deh from and weh wi a guh?”
“Yuh soon see,” he ignores the first half of my question. I shake my head, freshen my mouth and trail him.
As we drive out I can’t help it but think that he’s bringing us to a villa since he puts two luggage in the back of the car. He’s driving a black Range Rover today and I decide to comment on it after a while of him driving.
“What’s with the change of car?” I ask and he shrugs, and says, “Less attention.”
“Mi anxious fi know weh wi a go,” I laugh, he hands me a blindfold.
“Put it on,” he instructs and I put it on. I can’t see anything so I try to listen in order to get an idea of where we are but fail miserably. All mi a hear is people chatting. He parks the car and helps me out. “We reach.”
