When she’d walked away and her body had been swallowed whole by the waves, he had to follow. With no shyness about the bulging erection he sported, he dropped his swim trunks and dove into the water after her.

She stood waist deep in the ocean, staring away from him. Her red hair, already wet, clung to her back, reaching nearly to her waist. In that moment, she looked like a sea siren, and he heard her calling his name in the depths of his soul.

He walked to her, his footsteps dragging against the water, but he quickly managed to make it to her side. She turned when he arrived, as if she’d known he would follow, as if she’d counted on it.

The smile she sent him was blinding and seductive. He wanted her. By God, he wanted her, and he wanted her now. But he couldn’t take her. Not until he was sure her heart was healed. Not until he was sure she wanted him for himself and not as a distraction from her broken heart. Sure, he could have read her mind, searched her thoughts for the truth and continued on from there, but it didn’t feel right, especially since she didn’t know about their connection.

It would be difficult for him to resist her. Especially if she was in full seduction mode, which she seemed to be, considering she stared at him with eyes as wide and as blue as the sea.

“The water feels so fresh and cool.”

Katheryn lifted her arms overhead and trailed the fingers of one hand along the length of one arm. Her breasts hitched up with the movement, and he had to swallow to keep from falling apart.

“It is,” Ignacio agreed and decided it’d be best to take a step back.

She noticed and followed him.

“Why are you moving away from me, Ignacio?” She pouted her lip in an innocent manner. “Don’t you want me?”

He nearly groaned as her hand reached out to him, He forced himself to take another step back. However, the further he stepped, the more she followed until the ocean seemed to swallow her figure, covering her breasts in the dark water.

“Si,” Ignacio said breathlessly but kept stepping back until he couldn’t feel the ocean floor anymore. He tread water, pumping his legs as if it could wear off his sexual energy. “I do, Katheryn. But—”

“Then what are you waiting for?” She didn’t seem to mind he had gone deeper than her feet could touch. She swam close to him—incredibly close to him--until their legs touched. His erection pressed against the flat of her stomach.

“Katheryn—” He groaned. Whether it was a warning to her or a plea he couldn’t be sure. All he knew was if he didn’t get away from her and fast, he’d take her right there in the ocean.

But it was too late. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed herself against him.

Her breasts were wet and slick. His groin touched her folds as her legs wrapped him. She gasped at the contact, as if she’d felt the rippling pleasure that coursed through his own system. Maybe she had.

Blood pounded like a drum in his ears. He fought for control, fought to maintain his composure, but it was too damn late with her nearness, with his cock pressed to her opening. He wanted to plunge into her like a madman, but reason won.

Seeing no other solution, he gripped the back of her head. Her eyes widened with surprise, and she puckered her lips for a kiss. Instead, he bent to her ear and whispered, “Hold your breath,” before plunging them both into the dark waters.

She struggled against his hold for a moment before opening her eyes in the depths. Ignacio could easily open his, the salt water didn’t hurt at all. But she was human and he could tell it burned her eyes. It took several attempts, but she finally managed to open them and glared at him underwater. He let go of her then swam through the water, diving down to the ocean floor to search for seashells or sea glass to give Katheryn.

She followed, the momentary seduction forgotten, and looked around with him. They held their findings in one hand, pushing aside the wet sand with the other.

Occasionally, Katheryn surfaced for a breath of air then dove back down to continue searching. Although Ignacio could have gone hours without breathing, he didn’t want to rouse her suspicion, so he did the same.

When they had as much as they could hold, they retreated to the beach. They dumped their findings on a towel and sifted through them. There were broken bits of seashells and the occasional blue or green of sea glass. Nothing really mind-blowing like a starfish or a monstrous seashell, but enough to have Katheryn laughing happily.

“It’s so lovely, Ignacio! I love it.”

He smiled. “You can keep it all.”

“But what about you? Don’t you want anything you found?” He sat on the sand and stared at her with the warmest expression. This woman was so beautiful, and she was his, whether she recognized it yet or not, they were meant for each other.

“Being with you...mymemorieswith you are more than enough.”

She stopped, her expression suddenly serious. The earlier heat and temptation reappeared in an instant. Ignacio looked around. There were still a few people about. Being on a nude beach was one thing, but making love in front of everyone was another. He stood abruptly, gathering their belongings.

“Come with me,” he commanded. He hadn’t meant to snap, but his blood was heated again. His head pounded and his erection throbbed. This time, to hell with his control, to hell with it all. He wanted her, and she wanted him.

Before he made any move toward her, he’d ask her the question he hadn’t had the chance to ask earlier. He had to be certain; he had to see her face when she answered, to see whether she told a truth or a lie. He needed to know, and only then, would he take her.

She kept pace with him as if anticipating what was going to happen. He took their things and led her to a closed off section of the beach, where there were rocks and big boulders to shield them from anyone passing by or on the beach.
