I pull up to the new location. It’s in Colorado. Closer to enemy lines. I always liked to keep them close. They will no doubt think I moved further out, making this the perfect move.

I scope out the facility. It used to be a prison. It isn’t advertised as that, though. There is a house near the entrance of the property that has been on the market. The prison is located near the back of the property. It’s well hidden, and no one knows about it.

“So what do you think?” Dustin asks.

“It will work just fine,” I say with a sinister grin.

There will be no escaping here.

I open my phone to check Harmony’s location. I was going to put a tracker in her neck, but thought better of it. Sometimes, I trust her. Other times, I don’t mind the hunt.

Like at Astra’s engagement party, she was never supposed to fucking go. She told me she needed some new clothes. So naturally, I followed her. She turned off her location, so I went in person. That’s where I fucked up.

Astra should have never seen me. She should have never known of my existence. Dante, however, was made well aware. I even showed up to one of his pathetic deals. He thought he could outsmart me. He’s fucking wrong.

Now, I need to kill them both. Slowly, and painfully. I pull up the cameras at the house and watch Harmony and the whore. She is brushing her hair. Fucking pathetic.

I switch views and see Reese sitting on the couch watching a baseball game. I chuckle. He couldn’t care less about Harmony. And he REALLY couldn’t care less about the newest addition to my house. He’s a good fucking friend.

I close the app and get back into my truck. I have a few more stops to make.

I park my truck and slide out. Enrique promised me a fresh supply for The Orchard. He feels bad about Silas and Miles. Nicolette was a yappy bitch, so I couldn’t care less about her death. Miles was important, though. Handled all the transport. Now that he is gone, Enrique will help out until I find fresh blood.

Silas was really just a face. He held our auctions, and that was about it. He doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.

Now that I’ll have this new property, I can hold the auctions here at the main house. It will be a piece of cake.

Enrique drops a bag on the ground and holds out his hand for a shake. I oblige.

“Thanks for the extra run,” I say.

“It’s no problem, sir. I figured you could use extra since we will be transporting all of ‘em.”

I nod.

“Looks like enough to tranquilize an entire village,” I joke.

He laughs.

“Yeah, one or two probably.”

I pick up the bag and place it in the backseat of my truck.

“I’ll call you with a date,” I say.

“Sure thing.”

With that, I get back in my truck and make my way home to my queen. I need to celebrate.

“Just let me know if I hurt you okay,” I say.
