Fin hissed and the man let out a bellow of pain before rolling off me.
Fin landed beside me, his hackles bristling, body taut and ready to leap. “Touch her again and I’ll do more than rake a path down your back, I’ll gouge out your eyes.”
The naked psycho Adonis crouched in the snow, fire eyes locked on my face, expression tight with…need?
The roar of an engine filled the air.
His head whipped toward the sound. He snarled, backed away, then turned and ran.
I pulled myself off the ground as a motorcycle rounded the bend up ahead. The bright light made it impossible to get a look at the rider.
“Hey!” I waved my hands. “Stop.”
For a moment I thought the rider would plow straight through me, but at the last second they swerved and brought the bike to a halt. He sat with his back to me, silver hair gleaming in the moonlight.
I exhaled and hurried toward him, rounding his bike to get a better look at him, but he was too busy scanning the treeline.
I waved a hand to get his attention. “Hey, look, I was just attacked.”
He shook his silver hair out of his face, and I noted the black streaks running through it.
“Nice dye job.” Fuck, why had I said that out loud?
He arched a brow. “It’s natural. Did you get a look at who attacked you?”
“A shifter of some kind. He turned into a dude and jumped me.”
“Big guy?”
“Yeah.”
“Fiery eyes?”
“Yep.”
“Huge cock?”
“Ye—I didn’t see.”
He smirked. “You want a ride into town, you best be honest.”
I rolled my eyes. “Fine, it was big.”
“He wouldn’t have hurt you.”
He sounded certain about that. “Oh, so does this friend of yours usually leap onto females, pin them down, and tell them how good they smell?”
His brows shot up and a surprised chuckle escaped his lips. “No…No, he does not.”
I was done debating the mystery naked guy’s intentions. I just wanted off the cold street. “Look, my car broke down. I really need a ride. I can pay you.”
He raked me over, gaze lingering on my lips.
I’d seen that look on enough male faces to know what it meant. “In cash.”
He smirked. “Get on.”
Fin appeared beside me and the biker looked down at him. “Nice pussy.”
