“Yeah. I always thought it would be cool to do a nude photo shoot for charity. Like, people could purchase the photos and the money would go to a worthy cause.”

When his eyebrow quirks up, it sets off an idea. An outlandish and filthy idea...but a brilliant one too.

“Then do it.”

“Do what?”

“A nude photo shoot. For charity. And your fans.”

It’s clear this is something Lewis really wants to do. And even though he didn’t go in-depth when explaining his relationship with his agent, it’s obvious that because of Trent, Lewis doesn’t often get to do what he wants. But Trent isn’t here right now. I am. Maybe I can convince him to defy his agent and actually do this.

“Trent’s not the boss of you,” I say. “If you want to do a nude photo shoot for a cause you believe in, do it.”

A chuckle falls from that scrumptious half smile. “Who would take the photos?”

“Me. I could do it on your phone.” I straighten up, wondering if Lewis will take the plunge or back out.

He half smiles before quirking up an eyebrow. “A nude photo shoot? Seems a bit intimate for two people who are supposed to just be friends and housemates. You sure this isn’t just an excuse for you to see me naked?”

He’s right. This flies in the face of the “let’s just be housemates and friends, nothing more” rule we set for ourselves when we started living together. Because orchestrating a naked photo shoot with your superhot housemate that you’re crushing on is guaranteed to test that boundary.

But I’m one thousand percent okay with that. And there’s a flash behind Lewis’s eyes that makes me think that he’s keen on the idea too—maybe he just needs some teasing words of encouragement.

And that spurs me on. This feels a lot like a naughty game of one-upmanship we’re playing—let’s see who’s the first to admit that this photo shoot is as much an excuse for us to engage in some naughty activities as it is for charity.

“I’ll admit, there are worse things in the world than seeing you naked.” I keep eye contact with him as I speak, which he seems completely into, judging by the way his smile widens. “But it also sounds like you’re interested in dropping a line to your fans on social media and staging your reentry to the business on your own terms. This could be a fun way to do that. You could post a few tasteful nudes on your accounts as a way to let your fan base know that you’re doing okay. You wouldn’t have to reveal your location, so you’d still be able to maintain your privacy, but it would be something you could give to your fans to show them that you’re still thinking about them.”

The gears in my brain crank at full speed as this idea takes hold.

“You could make a digital calendar out of the rest of the photos taken, and people can buy and print them. And you can give a portion of the profits to charity. This would be a great way to sort of test the waters of your comeback while you still remain on hiatus. You’ll get an idea of how people will receive you when you’re ready to step back fully into the limelight. And you’ll be doing something sexyandcharitable.”

He makes a “not bad” face just before that half smile makes a reappearance. I bite my lip. He’s completely into this, just like I am.

“We’re adults,” I say. “We can keep things professional during this naked photo shoot, I’m sure.”

There’s a flash behind his hazel eyes, like he doesn’t quite believe what I’ve said and is just as eager as I am to see it all play out.

“So? What do you think?” I ask.

“I think that I’m on board. Let’s do it.”

“And you’re sure that’s not the vodka talking,” I ask to confirm he’s of sound mind and body before I take in all of his body...for the sake of the arts, of course.

“That might have loosened me up, but I’m ready to do this. And I trust you,” he says.

Wow. I clear my throat to keep my triumphant squeal at bay. This is hands down the ballsiest thing I’ve ever done: proposing a naked photo shoot starring the celebrity I’m crushing on with me as the photographer.

But Lewis is completely into it. And it’s for a good cause—not just an excuse to see him naked.

That’s what I tell myself as I watch him down the last of his drink, mesmerized by the pulse of his throat as he swallows.

We chat and hammer out the details for the photo shoot. He mentions donating the money he receives from selling the pics to an LGBTQIA+ charity that his friend volunteers with.

“Seeing the work that you do with Glad You’re Here makes me realize that I need to do more to support charities.”

“That would be amazing, Lewis.”

When everything’s finalized, he sets the empty glass down on the counter and wags his eyebrow at me. “Time to get naked.” He walks off toward the hallway, then spins around and winks at me. “For charity.”
