“Bring it up at the next meeting. I doubt you’ll get any pushback,” Puma tells me. “Chill has mentioned wanting to freeze Jasmine’s boobs before using a chisel to hack them off if she doesn’t stop pressing them against Hunter every time she goes behind the bar.”
I suck in a breath at his statement and then chuckle. “Shit, she’s scary.”
“You have no idea,” Puma says dryly. “That’s not why I called, although I’m glad you found Bianca. I need you back here. Rafe wants our help. Why don’t you bring Randy with you if he’s got nothing better to do? He can help, too.”
I consider grilling Puma for more information, but I figure he’ll tell us everything once we’re back at the clubhouse. “We’ll be back there in a few minutes.”
I turn to go back inside, but spot Randy and Bianca deep in conversation. Why did Bianca call him? Is there more to their relationship than I initially thought? I assumed Bianca and Randy met for the first time the previous night, but maybe I was mistaken. They seem close. Closer than I would expect two people to be after spending less than an hour together. Are they playing a game? If so, what’s the game?
I consider getting on my bike and leaving Bianca with Randy. If it weren’t for Puma’s comment about bringing them both back, I would. Shoving the door open, I move to the table and stand next to it instead of retaking my seat next to Bianca.
“Puma wants us back at the clubhouse, you too,” I say to Randy.
Randy looks surprised at my statement. “Did he say why?”
“Rafe is there and wants our help with something. Puma thought you could help, too, but if you can’t come with us, I can tell him you’re busy. Maybe you have to go to work?”
“I’m off today and didn’t have any plans. I can go with you. Do you know what they want?” Randy asks as he slides out of the booth. Pulling out his wallet, he glances around the room until he spots the waitress. Randy holds up several bills to show her before tossing them on the table. I assist Bianca out of the booth before placing my hand at the small of her back and directing her outside.
“Bianca, you want to ride with me or Rattler?” Randy asks once we’re outside.
I offer a neutral expression to Bianca as I await her response. She glances between us both before she grins at me. “You’d be okay with me riding on the back of your bike? I’ve heard some of the bikers who visit the casino talking about having ‘a backpack’ and how some won’t let anyone, but their Old Lady, ride with them.”
I grin at her enthusiasm. “I’d love to give you a ride, it’s why I brought a spare helmet.” I point at my bike where two helmets hang from the handlebars.
She bounces and claps before striding to my bike, leaving me with Randy. “You have a problem with her riding with me?” I ask, trying to gauge his reaction. I don’t understand where he stands with Bianca. Is he jealous of me? If so, why did he call me to come down here? Maybe he doesn’t consider me a threat to his relationship with Bianca. That thought prompts me to glance over at the beauty by my bike. Perhaps he thinks I don’t have a shot at getting a woman like her.
“I don’t have a problem with it. Our girl could use some fun,” Randy says, slapping my shoulder before moving toward his car.
Our girl? That’s the second time he’s referred to her that way. What does he mean by our girl? Does he think we’re going to share her? Is that what she wants? I study her face as I approach my bike. She waves at Randy as he backs out of his parking spot before sending me a brilliant smile.
“How does this work?” she asks. “I’ve never been on a bike before. What do I do? What should I not do? Oh my god, I’m so excited.”
I laugh at her enthusiasm as I take the helmet I borrowed from Viper and place it on Bianca’s head. I stare into her gold-colored eyes as I fasten the strap under her chin. “Just follow my lead. Lean when I lean, don’t fight against me. I have control and will take care of you.”
“I know,” Bianca says, thoughtfully. “You’ve been taking care of me since we met. I’m sorry I ran off instead of waiting to talk to you. I feel like I’ve let you down.”
I brush my finger over her cheek. “You didn’t let me down. We’re still getting to know each other. Trust takes time. I only hope that you want to take the time.”
She smiles. “I do.”
“Good. Now, I’ll get on first and then help you climb onto the back. You’ll need to scoot up close and wrap your arms tight around me. Place your feet on the pegs, okay?” She gives me a quick nod before I swing my leg over and then offer my hand to her. Once she’s in place, she positions her long legs along mine as her thin arms encircle my waist. I take a moment to enjoy the feel of her behind me as I rev the engine. When I take off, she squeals with happiness and tightens her grip. The sound of her pleasure makes my smile widen.
The ride to the clubhouse is too quick. I want to keep riding off into the desert with the lovely Bianca at my back. As a prospect, I didn’t get to ride as much as I wanted because I always seemed to be the one assigned to driving the SUV. I enjoyed the rides when I could. However, I’ve never enjoyed a ride more than this one. Having her pressed against my back feels like heaven. This is what I’ve been missing, even though I never realized it. We catch up to Randy, and I pass him. His grin is as wide as mine when he sees the pleasure on Bianca’s face. For some reason, I’m not angry that he’s happy for her.
Randy follows us through the gate. He parks as I back into my spot. I help Bianca off my bike. She’s still bouncing as Randy joins us.
“I take it you enjoyed yourself?” I ask as Randy watches her with an amused expression on his face.
“I loved it! That was so much fun. When can we go again?”
“Soon,” I assure her. “But first, we have to go inside and see what Puma has planned for us.”
I take the helmet from Bianca and make a note to take her shopping for a helmet of her own. She grabs my hand as Randy follows us inside. When her eyes bounce around the room, I realize she’s looking for Jasmine. I squeeze her hand to comfort and distract her.
“If you’re looking for Jasmine, don’t worry. The Kutte Bunnies are busy cleaning the clubhouse. Jasmine won’t bother you again, I’ll make sure of it.”
Bianca gives me a soft smile as I lead her and Randy to the table where Viper, Chill, and Hunter sit.
