EPILOGUE: BIANCA

I wake aroused. My body is on fire as multiple hands, lips, and tongues roam over my naked skin. I’m like a live wire. The electricity shooting through me is off the charts as I moan under the ministrations of my two men. We fell into bed last night in a tangle of arms and legs as we reveled in our reunion. I gasp when teeth brush over my hardened nipple while a thick finger plunges into my core. I open my eyes to see the top of Randy’s head while he suckles my breast. My eyes shift to stare into Rattler’s pretty green eyes as he grins at me.

“Didn’t you two get enough of me last night?” I ask them.

“Not possible,” Rattler growls while Randy coaxes a shriek out of me by biting hard on my nipple.

They render me speechless as they work together to wring out orgasm after orgasm from me until I’m too weak to move. It takes all my effort to croak out a plea for them to stop before they kill me.

“You two play with each other while I watch,” I order them.

Instead of giving me a show, Randy and Rattler shut down. I frown at them as they shift to either side of me to lie on their backs and stare at the ceiling. My heart hurts when I realize the two men are shutting down.

“What’s going on? What’s wrong with you two?” I ask.

Randy shifts to his side and strokes his finger over my breasts while Rattler strokes my leg. “Nothing is wrong,” Randy says. “Rattler and I have something we need to work out.”

“What?” I ask.

“It’s between us,” Rattler growls.

Oh, hell no. I surprise them both by flipping to my knees and backing off the bed. I stand at the foot of the bed and glare at them. “Are we together, or not?” I ask them. “I thought we all wanted a relationship together. Am I wrong?”

Rattler sighs. “No, you’re not wrong.”

“Then start talking. Tell me what’s going on between the two of you.”

“I screwed up,” Randy says. “I chose my badge over Rattler.”

“I don’t know what that means,” I say.

“Do you remember how I told you Walt was no longer a problem?” Rattler asks. I nod. “You didn’t ask me why he was no longer a problem.”

“I figured you captured him and were holding him somewhere,” I respond.

Randy gapes at me. “You knew they kidnapped him and were holding him hostage?”

I shrug. “I didn’t know, but I suspected. They’re bikers. Isn’t that what bikers do to their enemies? Walt and his family stole from the club, and they were attacking club employees. I don’t see Puma or any of the men sitting back and letting that continue to happen. It made sense that they’d grab Walt and put him somewhere where he couldn’t cause any more trouble. I imagine they also wanted to question him.”

Rattler smirks at me while Randy sits up and runs his hand through his hair. “Well, shit. When you put it that way, I feel like an idiot for not figuring it out sooner.”

“You kind of were an idiot,” Rattler says.

Randy sends him a disgusted look. “It wasn’t the first time I acted like an idiot, and it won’t be the last. I screwed up, okay? I plan on fixing it.”

“How?” Rattler asks.

“How did you screw up?” I ask.

“I got angry when I realized Rattler had tortured Walt to get the location of their compound. Instead of being grateful that we were closer to getting you back, I got angry because they broke the law.”

“Well, you are a cop,” I remind him.

“It’s not an excuse, but it’s also not going to be a consideration again,” Randy says.

“What do you mean?” Rattler asks, shifting on the bed to study Randy.

“I’m quitting the force,” Randy says. “I don’t want my badge to come between us.”
