Collin blinked a few more times. How long had it been since he used his words? He needed to talk? “Soft, sir. I feel soft.”

“How’s your throat?”

Collin touched his neck with the tips of his fingers. “Sore, but not bad, sir.”

“Open up and let me see.”

Collin obediently tipped his head back and opened his mouth.

Mr. Reevesworth shone the light from his phone down toward the back of Collin’s throat. “You look fine.” He turned off the light. “You spaced hard. So we’re going to keep two eyes on you. If you feel sad or lost, tell us. It’s normal. It’s called subdrop.”

Collin nodded. They’d talked about this before. “Um, sir, am I in trouble?”

“For what?”

“Standing up?”

Mr. Reevesworth laughed, warm and deep. “Collin, I think at the point we worked you up to, you were a creature of pure instinct. There will be no punishment for that. Though I can’t say I’ve ever seen a sub flatten Émeric and absolutely own him like that before.”

Collin blushed. He chanced a look toward Mr. Moreau.

The dark Frenchman smiled and stroked Collin’s calf. “If I wanted to stop you, pretty boy, I would have.”

“I just needed you.” Collin’s blush doubled; he dropped his eyes. He’d been shameless, a being of embodied need.

“You were gorgeous.” Damian reached out and tangled his fingers with Collin’s. “When you give, you really give.”

Collin shivered and tried to cover his face with his free hand. “I think I’m after-embarrassed. And I ruined your plans, sir.” He looked back at Mr. Moreau. “You said you were saving that.”

Mr. Moreau shrugged. “There’re still hours in the day, mon petit chaton. I’ll remember to protect my cum if I want to save it next time Richard decides to drive you into the realm of your inner incubus.”

Collin groaned and squirmed. “I’m…not…”

Damian’s chuckle cut him off. “You practically attacked both your doms for cum, brother. I’m not sure you can deny the title.”

Collin whined and curled up tighter inside his Master’s embrace. “I’m never going to be able to look any of you in the face again!”

Damian grinned. “I’m not sure how that’s going to go down in the office.”

Collin groaned. “I’m not… I’m not…”

“You’re gorgeous, submissive, beautiful, and mine.” Mr. Reevesworth tucked Collin in against his chest and kissed Collin on the nose. “I wouldn’t have you any other way. What you did today was submission, Collin. I pushed you, and you blossomed. I wonder how many other gates we can take you through, how much more we can discover about you, about ourselves with you.”

“You’re not mad it didn’t go as planned?”

“Collin, scenes have a general direction but never have a rigid plan. Passion and pleasure don’t work in that manner. You have to follow the threads and trust yourselves and your partners. You write the scene as it unfolds. The more you know of one another, the more you can surmise how the time might progress, but even lovers of decades can discover new facets and reactions in each other. So yes, I may have planned to have you suck Damian off while edging you and then taken you into the office while I read my book for a while, but when you rose up on your knees with your eyes blown like that, asking, for the first time, begging even, that was a gate inside of you I wanted to open. You were never outside my control, and you never disobeyed. I unlocked you, and what I found fascinated and delighted me.”

Collin swallowed and snuggled in closer. “Can I be embarrassed for a while, anyway?”

“You have permission to be embarrassed. But embarrassing you has become a favorite pastime of mine. Expect much embarrassment in your future.” Mr. Reevesworth kissed Collin again.

Collin wrinkled up his nose. “Why do I like it so much? It feels like there must be something wrong with me.”

Mr. Moreau chuckled and stroked Collin’s leg. “There’s not one answer to that, Collin. Going to the places that embarrass us at the hands of a good dom pulls back the veil on experiences usually impossible to achieve with another human being. It breaks down walls and gives us an experience of love in situations that many of us have been told we would be unlovable in. It redefines acceptance and allows a freedom unlike any other.

“To have you like you were today, when you had abandoned all control and surrendered, that is heady. When you needed me with the desperation you had today, think of what I feel, think of how powerful it is to be wanted with that kind of abandon. You’re the human version of a dog running to the front door as soon as their human comes home, guileless and without dissembling. You literally could not lie. You needed me, and you communicated that.”

Collin whined in his throat and tried to reach for Mr. Moreau. The man moved, pulling Collin into his arms and sitting beside his husband, so that Collin was half in one lap and half in the other.
