Reed’s life would have been so barren and cold without Joseph.Thank God, he’d been able to make their dreams come true.Reed had offered him a transfer to a managerial position in the States.Joseph was all in, even though Reed had confessed that he didn’t know a thing about being a couple.Joseph had cupped his face in his hands, kissed him, and said, “We’ll learn together.”

It had taken Joseph six months to get an L1A Visa for intracompany transferees. The temporary visa could be extended to a maximum of seven years, but perhaps Joseph would get his Green Card before that.

Joseph was a manager at Barton headquarters because his visa called for it, but Reed was teaching him the business from the ground floor up.His lover was a quick study and a great asset. There had been a few complaints about favoritism and some snide remarks about Reed’s sexual orientation, but for the most part people were very accepting.Even Claire. In fact, she was most upset when Reed and Joseph moved into their own place.Joseph fixed that problem.

Joseph broke into his thoughts.“Love will have to wait.Did you forget? We’re taking Claire and Rosamie to a matinee at the theater, then dinner.”

“No, I didn’t forget. You’ve made quite the impression on my sister.”

Joseph shrugged.“She just needed some quality time and attention from her brother. And when we included Rosamie, Claire discovered that her housekeeper could also be a good companion. Now we just need to find her a man to take care of her sexual needs and she’ll be as happy as we are.”

Reed looked up, stunned, then broke into laughter.“You’re incorrigible.”

“Yes, and you love it.”

“I do,mahal ko.We have an hour before we pick up the ladies.I think we better share a shower to save time.”

Joseph grinned, stood and pushed his chair back.

Reed followed. In his heart, he thanked God that he’d taken a leap of faith and made the right decision.
