But as the high of the orgasm faded, reality slammed into her, sending her heart racing. She hadn’t actually meant to let him take things so far. Just a little touching, a little teasing. Enough to get them both a little riled and maybe earn her a quick, playful spanking from their woman.

Now, however…

“Fuck,” she groaned, throwing a hand over her eyes. “Daddy’s going to be pissed.”

“You’re absolutely right about that, little girl.”

Jacob

* * *

Scrambling to sit up, Jacob looked from one woman to the other, his brain trying to piece together what was going on. There was Cordelia in the doorway of his bedroom, arms folded, her face a careful mask that didn’t really give away what she was feeling.

On the bed beside him was Ivy. She’d push up to a sitting position, her hair a wild mess around her face, her delicate features twisted with worry.

“I’m sorry, Daddy, I didn’t mean to, I swear. It-it was an accident.”

Cordelia raised a single eyebrow, sending Jacob’s heart racing with fear. “I see.”

Two words. Just two little words, but they were delivered with such deadly calm, Jacob nearly sank to his knees in front of her to beg for forgiveness. Even though he wasn’t really sure what he should be begging forgiveness for, exactly.

Taking a step forward, Cordelia raked her gaze over them, one corner of her mouth tugging up in a sadistic smirk. “So, what happened exactly, babygirl? You accidentally came into Jacob’s room, stumbled and accidentally fell into bed with him? I suppose your pajamas accidentally fell off of their own accord with no help from either of you?”

As she spoke the pieces fell into place and Jacob nearly groaned. Had Ivy not gotten permission to wake him up the way she had? He probably should have asked, but he’d been so caught up in the taste of her it hadn’t even occurred to him they were doing something ‘wrong’.

“I-I can explain.”

Every protective instinct he had welled up in him at the tremble in Ivy’s voice. She sounded so small, so scared, and he wanted nothing more than to shield her from Cordelia’s wrath.

But he’d been warned what would happen if he did that. If he stepped between them when Ivy was in trouble. Was he willing to risk an even worse punishment than what he likely had coming already to protect Ivy?

Yeah, actually, he was.

“It was my fault.”

Behind him, Ivy groaned. And now both of Cordelia’s eyebrows shot up to her hairline with clear disbelief. “Explain.”

Pinned in place by those emerald eyes, he had to fight the urge to squirm, and he was pretty sure his face was already bright red. “I don’t really know how to, Ma’am. We just got carried away.”

“I see.” Again just two little words that had his stomach clenching. “That doesn’t explain how Ivy came to be in your bed in the first place.”

“Because I was being a brat,” Ivy said with an annoyed huff of breath. “But I really did just get carried away. I never meant for it to go that far.”

“So you only meant to disobey me a little.”

Beside him, Ivy seemed to shrink in on herself. “I guess you could put it that way.”

Silence engulfed them as Cordelia slowly made her way across the room to stand in front of the bed. When she was close enough, she reached out, gripping his face with her slender fingers. “I’m going to ask you a question, and I expect nothing less than the truth from you, Jacob Aaron. Am I understood?”

“Y-yes, Ma’am.”

“When Ivy crawled into your bed, were you under the impression she had my permission to do so?”

His mind raced, trying to find a way to answer her question without lying but without getting Ivy in even more trouble than she already was. “I didn’t really think about it, Ma’am.”

“Hmm. Then I suppose I’ll have to ensure it’s something neither of you forget to think about in the future. Stand up, both of you.”
