“Gia? I haven’t made a secret of what I want.”
“You wantme.Physically.”
“Yes. More than I have ever wanted anyone before. But…this is about whatyouwant now.”
She pulled in a breath as she looked into his dark brown eyes. He had the most expressive eyes. Just like his son’s. “What if I told you that…if I do this…it’severything.Everything for me. It can’t ever be just casual for me. It just can’t.”
He was pulling her closer. Gia was letting him.
“I know. And it will be everything forme, too.”
He was wearing that baby blue shirt he wore often. It was her favorite shirt of his, no denying that. But now…
Gia reached out one hand. This…she was taking that next step. It was more about…letting go now.Trusting.
Moving on. Living herlife.
She toyed with the first button. And flicked it open, deliberately. “I want everything. Everything you can give.”

The trees blocked mostof Jason’s view of the house where he stood. He wasn’t going to be out there long. Just long enough to make sure everything went according to plan.
His SUV was dark in color. There was a bend just up the damned road from Hanan’sestate.Jason had parked there, and waited.
For a former client. Aproperdefense didn’t come cheap. The man’s mother still owed him ten grand that Walters would never know about.
Or a bigfavor. And this guy knew how to do what Jason needed done.
A car pulled up. The man climbed out. Jason held out the envelope of cash. Wordlessly.
The man took it. “And this is all I gotta do?”
“Yes. Just do it.”
“And the rest of my mom’s money she’s paid? You really gonna give it all back?”
“You’ll get the remainder the first thing tomorrow morning. Any problem with that?”
“No.” The man shoved the cash in his jacket. “It’ll get done as long as my mom gets her money back.”
“Money back guarantee. Take care of this little favor, and it’s yours.” It was a small price to pay for his own freedom. It was time to clean up some of his earlier mistakes.
And now Hanan hadher. ValueRoyalty.
Her SUV was right there—she was probably all snuggled up and cozy in Hanan’s bed right now, exhausted.
Jason just waited.
Step one: He was going to get rid of Hanan, or at least make himhurt.
If nothing else, this would distract that bastard long enough for Jason to clean up a few things still out there in the open.
No matter what the cost.

Hudson smirkedat the beautiful woman sitting on his bed, one leg bent beneath her, the other foot trailing against the floor. She was wiggling her bare little toes on the rug.
