Sienna
The morning of the wedding, the sky was alive with all sorts of oranges, reds and blues.
Sienna had woken early and was standing outside on her back porch looking at the sunrise.
Trace came out and put his arm around her, kissing her temple.
“Why are you up so early?”
Sienna sighed, “I couldn’t sleep. I'm not nervous to marry Brek, just sad that mom and dad has to miss this.”
Trace hugged her tighter to his side, “I know. Mom would have loved Grace, that is for sure.”
Sienna laughed softly, “Yes she would have.”
Trace sobered, “Look around Sienna. Look at the beauty of the sky today. Look at who is standing next to you.”
Sienna looked up at him and he said, “I know mom and dad led us back to each other. I just know it. They have always been here, and I see it every single time I see your face. Every time I see how Brek loves you. They have given us the life we always wanted to have. Don’t be sad. Be happy. You are marrying the man who loves you. I couldn’t be happier for the both of you.”
Sienna bit her lip, “You' are right Trace. They did give us an amazing life didn’t they?”
He nodded and the two of them watched the sunrise, before Sienna got ready.
They were having the ceremony over at the McGuire’s house and Sienna couldn’t wait to be Brek’s wife.
It's been just over a month since they met, and she had loved every moment.
When Trace walked her down the aisle to her love, Sienna had smiled the entire way.
With her brother at her side and her soon to be husband, with his wonderful parents standing there, she knew she could do anything.
They said their vows, and before she knew it, she was Mrs. Brek McGuire and she couldn’t be happier.
They spent the rest of the night dancing and laughing. And Sienna loved it all.
She knew that this was the beginning of the most beautiful life.
