When Trace walked to his cruiser, he was once again grateful to Brek to bring him along. Otherwise, he would have never found Sienna.
And he loved this town. Silver Springs was a happy place and after the break-ins those months ago, nothing else had happened again.
He got in the car and pulled out onto the main street. He drove slowly, smiling at those who smiled at him and waving to the few older women who were out for their daily walks.
Life was good now. All he needed was to find his love. Like Brek had.
He wanted that more than anything. Before, he had been too busy trying to survive and trying to find Sienna that he never bothered with dating.
It wasn’t really an option. And he didn’t find anyone that stood out to him anyway.
But now it burned inside. He wanted to be happy and to have the life that he had dreamed of long ago.
It was finally within his grasp and he would have it. Sooner, rather than later he hoped.
