He didn’t move on, didn’t try to date and never would. It was difficult knowing he had let her slip through his fingers.
That even though his mom had been right, it still hadn’t been easy to not show how he truly felt and that he loved her.
And knowing that he had hurt her, made him ache. He never wanted her to be in pain.
Never wanted to cause her heartache. But he had. He'd made her cry and had broken her heart.
She already had too much heartbreak as it was and he hated it. It was time. He wanted to make her his.
He would have to figure out a way to get her to come along.
Her mom didn’t want her around and he didn’t want to leave her three states away.
That wouldn’t help with his plan at all.
He just had to get her to forgive him, and that was going to be a feat unto itself.
