She cut him off, “I love it. It’s exactly where I would want to live.”

He smiled and she leaned up and kissed him, and then snuggled up in his arms again.

She shut her eyes, feeling at peace for the first time since he had stopped talking to her all those years ago.

She was just happy that they were finally together and so in love.

It was always her secret dream and though Emery knew about her feelings and how much pain she had been in, she never told her best friend about the dreams she had.

Of how one day, Kian would finally stop ignoring her and that he would claim her as his own.

That she longed to be the mother of his children and have his last name.

That she loved that the woman she considered a sister and the woman she considered a mother would finally be that in real life.

And how grateful she was that her dreams had finally become a reality.

She smiled and held onto him a few moments longer, and felt his breathing slowly even out, and she knew he was asleep.

She let her eyes also stay shut and feeling Kian’s arms still tightly wrapped around her, even in his sleep was everything.
