He told them what happened from when they got to the town, the bomb and the weeks after.

He told them about the wedding, about how Karalee had finally forgiven him.

He kissed her hand and she leaned her head against his shoulder.

Then he told them about her mom and how she wanted to claim her body. And the man that wanted something from her.

Gray’s knuckles clenched on his chair and Graham’s jaw ticked.

Karalee gave a tight laugh, “I didn’t know. But Kian saved the day like he always does.”

Gray laughed and then Kian kissed his girl.

“So, when can we visit Isabelle?”

Gray looked at him, “The visiting hours are in the morning. You and Karalee can sleep in the guest bedroom if you like.”

Then he looked at them, “No hanky panky. The walls are thin, and we can hear it if you do.”

Kian put his arm around Karalee, “Her sounds are only for my ears. Don’t worry. No hanky panky here.”
