Margaret held them tightly, “Oh Rose. You are such a wonderful woman. Worrying over him for those months and knowing you were to have his child, possibly alone. I am in awe of you and your strength and I am so happy for you and Cabe.”

Rose smiled, “Thank you. It was not easy, and I missed him every day he was gone. Prayed every day for his safety. I am so glad he came home to me.”

Margaret smiled, “I know. I am too. I cannot wait to become a grandmother again. It is the best news. And not only that, I am gaining another daughter. I always wanted to have a girl, but it was not meant to be. I am thankful I get you and Emily as my daughters now.”

Rose hugged Margaret close, “I am so happy to be a part of your family.”

Everyone sat back down after a few moments and Cabe pulled her up to stand by him.

“We would like to wed as soon as can be arranged.”

Rose smiled up at him and Cole laughed, “We never do things the regular way do we?”

Rose shook her head, “And we wouldn’t want it any other way.”

Cabe laughed, “I will acquire a special license and then we are off to the country estate. Rose, do you object to being wed there?”

Rose smiled, “I would love to be wed there. It was always my dream.”

Cabe nodded, “I thought so. Come, now that we have had this talk, we can prepare. I will wait no longer to make you my wife.”

Margaret laughed, “Exactly like your father.”

Cabe grinned, “I know. Case, you and Emily are still welcome to the country estate, but please come with us to see us wed.”

Case smiled, “Of course, we would love that. Wouldn’t we?”

Emily nodded, “More than anything. I would love to get to know Rose and her family better.”

Oliver gave a squeal, and everyone laughed.

They stayed for a few more minutes before Cabe took his family home and left to get their license.

Rose had Lily and Eden’s help to get changed into one of her dresses and to pack her trunks again.

Then they helped Eden pack hers before Lily left to get their things arranged.

When everyone was ready, they got in the carriages that Cole and Cabe had ready for them, and off they went.
