Hurrying up the stairs, Rose changed out of her plain dress and into a deep purple one.
The color was bold, but it had a higher neckline than the other. She felt different in this dress.
More like the woman she was. And now even more so that she and Cabe had done so much together.
Smiling, Rose twisted her hair into a loose chignon and looked at herself in the mirror.
