Lucius
London England, March 1813
Lucius hated that he had been left behind when the Renegade had gone after Captain James.
But he knew better than to complain about such things.
He did love that he was the one to threaten the Captain, and that his threats had worked.
He watched the docks every day for the Renegade’s ship to come back into the harbor, and he had strict instructions that if he didn’t come back by a certain date, that something happened and Lucius needed to step in and do something drastic.
Charles had given him leave to use his imagination and do what he wanted to whomever he wanted out of the family and Lucius only wanted one person.
But she hadn’t come back to London. And their country house was too far from the docks for him to want to leave.
So, he would wait. It wouldn’t take long, and he would have her in his clutches.
He longed for that day. The things he had planned for the Captain’s woman?
Oh, they were just too good. He smiled at the thought and watched the water again.
It was almost time for Charles to be back. He would be vigilant in his search and as soon as he was able, he would go after the Captain’s woman in retaliation.
It's the penance he wanted if his crew and his Captain died.
