The girl let out another cry and Eden cooed at her, and she quieted down, before wailing.
Lydia laughed, “She has a good set of lungs on her.”
Eden laughed, “She certainly does. Must get it from me.”
Persephone watched as Eden put the baby to her breast and the little mouth latched on as if they had always done this.
Rhia came forward with tears in her eyes, “What is her name? She is beautiful.”
Eden smiled up at Rhia, “Her name is Rosalie Emmaline Lydia St. Andrew. After my mother. And Cole’s.”
Lydia let out a gasp and then started to cry. “Oh Eden. You are too kind. I love her. And you both.”
Lydia kissed Eden on the cheek and then everyone left the room.
Rhia hurried to Aidan and Alexander.
She took the boy from Aidan and cuddled him close and he started rooting around, and she gave a soft laugh and then left to feed him.
Cole came out and announced the birth of their daughter. And her name and everyone let up cheers for her.
It was a sweet moment, and she hurried down the stairs to find her husband.
He came out of the training room and was pulling on his shirt when he saw her and grinned.
She ran to him and jumped into his arms and he kissed her. “So, is it a boy or girl?”
Persephone laughed, “It’s a girl. Rosalie. She is perfect and so beautiful. Like her mother.”
Brooks grinned, “I hope we have a boy first.”
She laughed, “Why?”
He shook his head, “Because, if our girls look anything like you the boys will need to help me chase any other men away from my girls.”
She laughed again, “You silly man.”
He chuckled, “It is true. I will need help. Our daughters will never marry if it is up to me.”
She laughed harder, “Oh yes they will.”
He pouted, “Fine, but that is why I need a boy first.”
She chuckled, “I will try.”
He kissed her, “I truly do not care what we have though. In all honesty. I am just excited to be a father. I hope I can do it right.”
She kissed him, “You will be the best father there is.”
He smiled into their kiss, “And you will be the best mother.”
She sighed and he brought her up to their room and made love to her.
Then they all ate dinner together to celebrate the new life that was brought into the house.
Lily was getting closer and everyone was excited for her.
And they loved being Aunts and Uncles to the small babies.
She cupped the swell on her stomach that started to show with each passing day and gave a prayer of thanks.
She leaned into her husband’s side and smiled.
Life was perfect.
