Arielle
Meeting Cassidy’s Uncle Gunner was not what she was expecting. For one, he was hot as sin and dressed in the costume she had always wanted to see on a real man.
Prince Eric was her favorite prince, as obvious, but seeing Gunner not only look like him, but dressed just like him, made her insides jump and her panties so wet. When he had opened the door, she had let out a soft gasp and it was like her stomach filled with butterflies.
When she met his eyes, she wanted to swoon. He was so handsome.
Classic cut jaw, strong cheekbones, blue eyes and black hair. She knew he would be devastating when he smiled and glad he hadn’t smiled at her yet.
She had never had an instant attraction to someone like this before and it was hell on her nerves and insides.
He watched her as he drove to the first stop and she had to fight from squirming under his intense stare.
When they stopped, and he got out, she took a deep breath and put a hand to her stomach, hoping to stop the rioting in her belly.
“Arielle? Are you okay?” Cassidy asked and she nodded, right before Gunner opened Cassidy’s door, and helped her out.
He looked at her and she went to open the door handle, “Stay put. I will help you out.”
His voice sent shivers down her spine and she just nodded, dumbfounded.
He came around, leaned over her and unbuckled her seatbelt, because she forgot to do so, and as she breathed in his scent, she had to hold in a moan.
He was all man, and damn, it was not what she was expecting tonight. He wasn’t what she was expecting.
He looked at her as he helped her stand and his eyes searched hers and then traveled down to her mouth, over and over as if he wanted to kiss her.
Cassidy yelled out, “Come on! There is candy waiting out there.”
Gunner blinked and nodded, then grabbed her hand, and pulled her along beside him.
As soon as their fingers linked together, she knew he was the man she waited for. Wished for.
As he looked down at their joined hands, he brought them up and kissed the back of hers, whispering, “You feel it too don’t you?”
She nodded and he grinned, showing off his perfect teeth and making her want to melt into him.
They followed behind Cassidy, watching her skip from house to house, and with each new piece of candy, Cassidy’s excitement grew until they were all grinning and happy.
Gunner would raise their hands whenever Cassidy was walking up to the house and kiss her hand, and up her arm, causing her to break out in goosebumps.
He would gently trace down her arm with his other finger and she melted into him, giving into her wants.
“Can I ask you a question?” He said and she nodded, “How did you end up coming with us tonight?”
Arielle gave a laugh, “I made Cassidy’s dress. And was at her birthday party a few weeks ago. I was a mermaid.”
He nodded and she smiled, “Because of that, Genna and I became friends, as well falling in love with Cassidy. She asked if I would come with her tonight, before I have another engagement, and I agreed.”
He nodded, “So she did know about you then. For weeks. Damn it.”
She felt her eyebrows dip in confusion, “What?”
He shook his, “I just wish that I had been at the party. That’s all. So, she roped you into this?”
Arielle shrugged, “It isn’t so bad. Cassidy is the sweetest, and,” she swallowed and looked down at their conjoined hands, “I met you.”
He stopped walking, which made her stop also and he put his finger under her chin, “You’re glad you met me?”
