She washed as quickly as she could and ignored the mirror. Not wanting to see the love marks Gunner had left behind on her skin.

She went to her room, dressing in her pajamas and a big hoodie before going to the kitchen.

Kadence made her eat every bite of the spaghetti she cooked and then Arielle went to her room and locked the door.

She fell on her bed and hugged her extra pillow to her chest and just cried.

She would for tonight and then she would find a new place for her shop.

The other was tainted and she didn’t want to face it any longer.

She fell into a fitful sleep and when the alarm rang, she had slept for an hour at most.

She pulled herself from the bed, brushed her hair, pulling it into a ponytail and then brushed her teeth.

Then she walked out of her room and expected to see Kadence.

She wasn’t there, but it wasn’t unusual for Kadence to have opened the store for her.

Arielle took a deep breath and then left the house, heading toward her store.

A car followed behind her and she looked in her mirror wondering what was going on.

It followed her to the store and then drove past, slowly.

There was a man she didn’t know in the front seat, but he didn’t seem as if he was bad or would try to hurt her.

She shrugged it off and then went to the store, which was still shut and there was no sign of Kadence anywhere.

She shrugged, it wasn’t unusual for Kadence to get breakfast first, and unlocked it and went to work.

Glad she had stayed to finish the dresses last night.

She only needed to add the beading to a few and then these would be ready to be sold.

She went to sit down when the papers from yesterday caught her eye.

She picked them up and then calmly placed them on the counter.

She needed to look for a new place after these dresses.

That was that.
