She fell over the edge and cried out his name, hearing him moan hers against her skin,
She basked in the glow and when he lifted his head, he took her mouth in a gentle kiss and then pulled out of her, finding a cloth to clean her with.
He pulled his pants back on and he gathered her in his arms, helping her to dress and then they left the room together.
Kadence was there, with a man she had seen at both the parties. Raiden something.
Kadence’s eyes were wide and when Arielle saw that Gunner’s shirt wasn’t fully done up and that her best friend’s eyes were crawling over his large form, she let out a laugh because the other man covered her eyes with his hand.
“Fairy, if you want to look at half naked men, I gladly volunteer, but you don’t need to look at him. Only me.”
Kadence let out a huff and tried to push Raiden’s hand from her eyes, “But, he has so much skin on display. You can’t not look .”
Raiden growled and spun Kadence, “That mouth of yours fairy. It’s gonna get you in trouble.”
Then he kissed her and Arielle bit her lip and helped Gunner button his shirt.
“He is decent. Although that kiss isn’t.” She laughed and Gunner pulled her back into his arms, “I only want one woman looking at me Siren. That’s you.”
She sighed and he kissed her quickly and Raiden finally let Kadence up, though her eyes were dazed.
Kadence shook her head and hurried behind Arielle, making her laugh.
Kadence let out a gasp, “Is that an engagement ring?”
Arielle held up her hand and nodded, “I said yes.”
Kadence shook her head, “What about everything? I know he wants to help us, but what about it all? You just met the other day and he broke your heart. It can’t be love. Not really.”
Arielle turned to look at Gunner, he just had his slacks and his shirt on, along with his shoes.
His black hair was disheveled and he looked insanely gorgeous, and hers.
He gave her a crooked grin, and she smiled back at him.
“When you know, you know. Love at first sight is real. I have seen it happen before. Not to me, but to others. My parents are real, they met and married within a few days of knowing each other, as did my grandparents. I knew he was meant to be mine from the start. Even if it seems crazy. I love him.”
Gunner grinned and pulled her into his side, “I knew from seeing her picture she was meant to be mine. I just had to find her and prove it. And she is here, wearing my ring and is in love with me, like I am her.”
Kadence visibly deflated her anger and then looked at Raiden, who had his arms crossed. “See Fairy? It isn’t just me.”
She let out a small laugh and ran at him, and he immediately scooped her in his arms and kissed her again.
Kadence waved and Raiden carried her from the store.
Arielle looked up at her love and then bit her lip, “You know you have to meet my family now.”
Gunner grinned, “I asked your dad over the phone on my way here, but yes. I would love to meet them. You will have to meet my parents as well.”
She grinned, “Deal.”
He helped her carry some of the flowers to bring to her mom and grandma, and she was happy.
