Gunner

Meeting her parents went as good as he thought and her mom, Brynn helped his mom with their wedding.

He was grateful they didn’t waste time, and when their wedding day dawned, bright and beautiful, he could only hope Arielle liked the surprise he had for her.

He had spent the day getting his house ready, with Raiden, Genna, Luke, Brynn, Robbie and his parents, helping him string lights in the trees.

They were different shades of blue and by the time they were done, it looked like they were under the sea.

They had made the lights look like waves and they had white lights strung as well to add to the effect.

He knew the lights in the swimming pool would reflect and they even had a projector that made it seem as if they were truly in an underwater palace.

The seats that lined the pathway that led to their backdrop were white, and the arch was big pieces of driftwood, that they tied with twine and covered with white see through fabric.

There were also lights strung in between and Gunner loved the look.

He stood at the arch, ready for his girl to be his wife.

When the music started playing and she started walking toward him, she was breathtaking.

Her dress was pure white, and strapless.

It dipped low in the front and was tight to her body until her knees, where it flared out into a slight flare of fabric.

It was covered with lace accents all over, including the bottom and the back had a slight train to it.

Her hair was twisted in a braid to the side and fell in waves the rest of the way down one side.

She had blue, gray and white roses in her flowers, along with some greenery and damn, she looked like his Siren.

When she got to his side, she handed her flowers to Kadence and then his hands held hers.

“You look beautiful Siren.” He mouthed at her and she smiled and they listened as the priest spoke to them.

When it was his turn to say his vows, he said, “My siren. I have loved you from the second I saw you cradling my niece in your arms. Loving you from afar for that long. You gave me hope that day. And I have wanted nothing more than to have you by my side. And here you are. I want to give you the world, and to live my life with you beside me until we take our last breath. I love you Siren.”

He put her ring on and then it was her turn, “My prince. When I saw you that night, I didn’t know that you were real. That a man like you existed. Yet here you are. You are every bit the prince I wished for growing up. Handsome, kind and perfect for me. The man who would give me the world. I love you. Thank you for loving me. For seeing me as me and for giving me you.”

They were asked one final question and each said, “I Do.”

And then he was kissing her. His wife.

She kissed him back and then he was leading her back down the aisle.

“Our yard looks like an underwater wonderland. It’s beautiful.”

He kissed her, “Fitting for my mermaid. She needed water.”

He had built a few fountains around the yard and she loved each one.

They spent the night dancing in each other's arms, feeding each other cake and loving every minute of their beginning.

He took her to see the beaches of Greece for their honeymoon and she brought some of her tails to get pictures for her brand new website and seeing her in her element, her beautiful face lit up with joy and love made him love her more.

She went swimming in the ocean in her tails and had many of the locals around in awe of her beauty.

He didn’t get as possessive as he once did, knowing his ring was on her finger and his baby was growing in her belly.

And she never gave any man a second look.

He would kiss her senseless and make love to her after each time she went swimming and he loved their life.

True to his word, he built the mall in another location and it turned out beautifully.

Her store flourished and she was able to hire more help and to start selling online as well as to help more people suffering.

She had a heart of gold and he used his fortune to let her live her dreams.

Their life was the fairytale that he had always wished for and he wouldn’t change it for the world.
