Cassidy shook her head, “No mommy. I want her to come trick or treating with me and Uncle Gunner. Please?”
Arielle laughed, “I think I was supposed to swim as a mermaid. What should I wear instead?”
Cassidy giggled, “A dress silly. It’s a party.”
Arielle laughed, “Okay. A dress. What kind of dress?”
Cassidy tapped her chin with her finger, and her eyes scrunched up like she was thinking.
“Maybe a black one? Mommy says it is important to always have a black dress.”
Genna let out a startled laugh and Arielle smiled, “Okay. A black dress. If that is alright with your mommy.”
Genna grinned, “It sure is. You can swim later. If that is okay?”
Arielle nodded, “Yep. I can change and swim after a bit of trick or treating.”
Cassidy hugged her tight again, “Really? You will trick or treat with Uncle Gunner and me?”
Arielle nodded, “I sure will. And then swim later at the party. Okay?”
Cassidy nodded and then Arielle stood and Genna peeked in the box, letting out a gasp. “Oh, Arielle. That is gorgeous.”
Arielle grinned, “Thank you. I am so glad you love it.”
Genna nodded, “I do. I really do. I can’t believe how beautiful it is.”
Genna hugged her and then paid for the dress, adding a little extra and Arielle tried to refuse it, but Genna shook her head, “You did so much to make her dreams a reality. You are amazing. This was a drop in the bucket. Take it. See you Saturday.”
Arielle hugged them both and then decided to let Kadence handle the shop for a while, she had Grandma Lilianna here.
She was flying high and knew that she could work on the next tail she had started but hadn’t had the time to finish.
She had a lot to do before her day was over, and she didn’t hate it.
Kadence waved her off, “Go home. You have worked too hard. We got this.”
She gave a wink and Arielle hugged her and then Grandma.
She went home, wanting to paint the tail and then swim. She needed to get some of the kinks out of her body.
