When he could, he opened his eyes to see a stunning young woman that was lying next to him on the beach.
He thought he was hallucinating her pink hair, but the longer he looked at her, he knew he wasn’t.
She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, and when he carried her back to his house, she snuggled into his arms, it felt so right it kind of scared him.
She was the first woman to ever make him turn his head, to make him feel this way.
He had been too busy with school and getting their practice set up to date, and he had a feeling that a normal woman wasn’t meant for him.
It was a weird thing, but he knew there was something more about him, and he didn’t know the answer as to why it was.
He watched the girl out of the corner of his eye as she sat on the couch and then as she sat on one of the examination beds while Fin sewed him up.
She studied him intently as much as she did with everything else in the room, as if she was seeing these things for the first time.
Her hair was starting to dry from the rain and the ocean water, and the pink was light in some places, almost pale, and in others it was a deeper pink. She also had some teal mixed in.
She was breathtaking and her blue eyes made him want everything with her.
When Fin finished sewing him up, he walked to where she sat, and their eyes locked the entire time. And he felt something in his chest repair itself.
Like he was broken in some way, but was now whole.
He wanted to rub at his chest, but kept his hands at his side.
She was watching him, and when her eyes landed once again on his chest, he didn’t know what she was looking for, but he didn’t mind having her eyes on him.
He put his finger gently under her chin, “Can I help you stand? Did you hurt yourself in some way?”
She shook her head, “I'm fine. I just don’t really know how to use my legs yet.”
He was confused and when he looked over at Fin, he shrugged as if he had no idea what she meant.
“Okay? Well, why don’t we take it slow.”
She bit her lip and nodded and he helped her stand up, grabbing her when her knees buckled.
She looked up at him and he steadied her, and then took a small step backwards, and she did the same, but forward.
He had to hold her up as she walked the few steps forward, and as they went, she seemed to get the hang of it.
Pretty soon, she was taking steps on her own and he smiled.
His shirt was swimming on her and it looked better on her than it ever had on him.
He still remembered looking down at her and she was half naked, only wearing small shells on her breast and the smallest pair of panties he had seen. It was shocking and yet, so enticing.
He'd immediately covered her up, trying to preserve her modesty.
He shook his head, not wanting that line of thinking right now.
She was smiling, laughing that she was walking and it made him smile in turn.
When she walked up to him, she was grinning so big it made his cheeks hurt with his grin as well.
“Did you see me? I walked. Oh, I cannot believe this is real.”
Cruiz laughed, “Believe it.”
