When they got to the shore, Ulyana was nervous to meet Fin.
Fin was on the shore, sitting in a chair, reading a book when they got back.
He took one look at Ulyana and grinned so big it took over his face.
She too smiled up at him and when she turned her tail into legs, he stripped off his shirt and put it over her, and then swung her into his arms, and kissed her.
Cruiz laughed as Fin walked up the beach, stumbling a few times as he didn’t stop kissing Ulyana.
Soraya giggled and he pulled her into his side.
“You were wonderful today.”
He looked down into her beloved face, “You are. I love you Gem.”
“I love you too. Come on, I want to check on the baby and get to bed.”
He laughed, “Deal.”
They made it to their room where they made love and fell asleep in each other’s arms.
Epilogue
Soraya
A Month Later
Living with Cruiz at the Rehab center was nothing short of wonderful.
He showed her how to prepare food for the animals, and how to feed the baby dolphin.
That is until they found the pod of dolphins. The mother was so heartbroken that they had been ripped apart by a storm, that she had struggled to feed her other baby.
It too was sad and missed it’s sister, and when she and Cruiz had given the baby back to it’s mother it was a happy day.
She had cried and loved that they had reunited the family.
She and Ulyana loved being with the brothers and their mother would come to visit them at the beach if they didn’t get the chance to visit their tribe.
They had found out that their brother, Tridenton had found his mate around the same time they had, and they loved his girl so much.
He would come to see them often, and they loved when their family would visit.
Soraya fell in love with Cruiz’s parents. Irini and Adrien were kind, loving and so accepting of their sons and the choices in their wives, that Soraya loved them all the more.
Irini always swore that she knew her sons were meant for more, for greater things.
And she had been right. Neither Irini, nor Adrien knew why both of their sons were born to be Protectors, but Soraya had a feeling it was because they both had pure hearts and souls, and loved the sea.
Adrien had been born in a small town on the coast of England and Irini had lived on the beach where they lived now her entire life.
She always respected the sea and said often that there were more in its waters than most would ever know.
Irini and Adrien got along well with Marit and Destan, and Soraya loved the family that they had grown.
And they were soon to add another to their mix.
She knew deep in her soul that she was going to have a baby, and had told Cruiz of her thoughts this morning.
