She dropped her eyes, “I lied to you though. About more than just where I live and my phone number.”

He grinned, “Yer age? I gathered that when I saw yer license. Please say ye are at least eighteen, otherwise, I’m going to jail.”

She laughed, “I’m almost twenty. But I have been taking care of Kitty for a long time. We left our controlling parents a few weeks ago and we don’t have much money left. It scares me how much crime happens at the motel. I don’t want to leave Kitty there alone. But I don’t know if she could handle working at the club.”

“She won’t need to worry about that. If ye need to keep me hidden from her, ye can. But I will have ye by my side during the day. Ye won’t be working in the club as a waitress again. Or I will be heading to jail for murder.”

She laughed, “You are insane. I barely graduated from high school. What do you need my help for if not as a waitress?”

He shrugged, “I have a lot of responsibilities as the owner. A lot of endless paperwork and things to do. So if I teach ye what ye need to know, ye can help me. Kellen doesn’t use his desk much.”

“Kellen?”

Kieran smiled, “My older brother. He owns the club with me. He and I are close, but he has been busy trying to find a new location to build another club, so he hasn’t been around as much. He will like ye though.”

“If you are sure. I would love to help you.”

Kieran grinned and lifted her into his arms. “Change back into yer clothes from the club. This is the only time I will allow it and tomorrow, ye are mine. Ye will be mine until the end of the day. And I will figure out the best way to get ye and yer sister out of the motel. I don’t want to sleep away from ye.”

She bit her lip, “It might take some time. I don’t want to scare Kitty.”

He nodded once, “I will give ye two more days. That’s all I can do. I just found ye.”

She nodded, “Okay. Thank you Kieran.”

He watched her get dressed in her clothes and then let him kiss her senseless.

He put her in his car after putting the shirt on that she had taken off and then dropped her off in front of the club where she saw Kitty sitting in the driver's seat, reading a book.

Kieran kissed her, “Be back tomorrow. Not in these clothes.”

She nodded and got out of the car and hurried to her sister.

She hated leaving Kieran. It sucked.
