Kieran told Kellen what he heard and Kellen started swearing. “Are ye fucking serious? She heard that? Who the fuck would say something like that? Fuck.”
Kieran shook his head, “I don’t know. But I asked Dante and Theo to figure it out. I want them fired. They aren’t to come near me or Keelyn.”
“Keelyn? That’s her name?”
Kieran smiled, “Yes.”
Kellen laughed, “She sounds Irish. Ma would have approved.”
Kieran sobered, “She would have. I will let ye know what Dante and Theo find out. Ye send me the numbers. And come home soon. I want ye to meet Keelyn.”
Kellen let out a breath, “I can’t wait to meet her. I will be home soon. A few more days, but I fucking hate it here. I don’t know about it Kier. I have to talk to another developer and then I’m coming home. I’m going to try to rush him..”
Kieran nodded, “Fine. Good luck.”
“Ye too.”
They ended the call and Kieran stood, he didn’t want to be here anymore.
He opened the door and walked out to his car.
A woman was leaning up against it. But it wasn’t Keelyn.
Nor her sister. Kieran went still and when he got closer the girl looked up and he recognized one of the waitresses that had been one of the first they had hired.
She hadn’t lasted long. She always tried to come on to him and to Kellen and even Dante.
Kieran had fired her long ago, but here she was.
Hailey or something. He didn’t remember her name.
He pulled out his phone, texting Declan to meet him in the parking lot.
Declan sent back a thumbs up and then he heard the club door open as Hailey pushed herself off of his car.
She swaggered over to him, her high heels sky high and her dress tight and revealing.
He looked only into her face and felt sick to his stomach as she got closer.
He stepped away from her when she got close to him and moved his arm so she didn’t touch him.
“Kieran…..I hear you hired a new waitress. One that gave you everything I tried to give you.”
Kieran sneered at her, “How the fuck did ye hear about her?”
Hailey gave a smile, “I have my sources. Heard she didn’t want anything to do with you after she heard some delicious rumors about you? Don’t you remember our time together?”
Kieran took another step back, “I don’t know what ye are talking about. I have never touched ye and I have video feeds to prove it.”
He looked at the girl and then over at Declan, “Ye need to call the police.”
The girl let out a scream, “I did too!”
Kieran just stared the girl down and she let out a screech, “What does that slut have that I don’t?”
Kieran narrowed his eyes, “For one, she wasn’t desperate and coming onto a man who didn’t want her, and for two, she is my woman. Soon to be my wife. That’s all ye need to know. Don’t come back here again. I will get a restraining order against ye.”
She sneered, “I come to the club all the time. Declan lets me in, doesn’t he?”
