Epilogue
Keelyn
Fifteen Years Later
“Kinsley! Get your ass down here! We are going to be late! I still have to drop off Kiefer!”
Keelyn yelled up the stairs to her oldest daughter and looked at Kiefer who was ready to walk out the door.
Her son was a spitting image of his father and she loved it. He was thirteen and already a heartbreaker around his junior high because he didn’t give any of the girls the time of day.
Except for a small slip of a girl named Jade. She was a girl that had more hair than she was tall it seemed, and Kiefer was smitten with her.
She knew that he knew that she was meant for him. Just like Kieran had said all those years ago.
Kinsley walked down the stairs, looking much like Kitty had when they were younger.
She had turned fifteen the other day and she was stunning and kind.
“Sorry, mom. I couldn’t figure out my makeup. I tried a new trend.”
Keelyn shook her head, “It’s alright. But you know you don’t need it right?”
Kinsley smiled, “I know. I just like to play with it. Can I try it on you later?”
Keelyn grinned, “Absolutely.”
Kinsley was a girl through and through. She loved doing hair and makeup and the girl was a genius with both. She had signed up to do hair school when she was a senior in high school and Keelyn knew that she would do great things.
Kinsley liked to do special effects makeup too. And Kiefer often let her do stuff on his face.
They were extremely close, and she knew her son would follow in his father’s footsteps.
He was savvy and knew all about the business. She took the kids to the club during the day when no customers were there and let Kiefer figure out the books.
He was a math whiz and she knew her children were going to excel at whatever they set their mind to.
And she and Kieran would support them no matter what.
Kieran walked in from the kitchen, a cup of coffee in hand, “My wee babe, ye don’t need makeup as yer mother said.”
Kinsley walked over and hugged her father and he kissed the top of her head, “Thanks, dad.”
He hugged her tight and then did the same with Kiefer. “Gone on to school. Don’t make yer mother late.”
She kissed Kieran and was out the door in seconds, driving the kids to school.
She had an appointment with Kitty to get their nails done when the kids were in school and they never missed unless it was necessary.
She loved the bi-weekly appointment and spending time with Kitty.
Their lives were pretty dang awesome since they got together with Kieran and Kellen.
They went to Ireland to visit the guy’s homeland and meet their father, the man still struggled with his misery but was doing better as the years passed, and they spoke to them as often as they could and he doted on the kids. Sending them presents all the time.
They were planning a trip there soon with all the kids.
They couldn’t wait. She waved goodbye to her kids and drove to her appointment, unbelievably glad that she had taken the step to go to that club for a job.
