She was floating on cloud nine and went back to her office, drawing a few sketches of some clothes she wanted to add.

Ones that were professional. If this woman came in with her request, others out there had to feel the same.

She drew for a few hours and then looked up and saw the clock.

She ran a hand over her neck. She always lost track of time and she knew it was almost time for the boutique to close.

She wanted to show Ella the new line and she was excited for the next thing.

Ella was in her office and when Bria knocked on the door, Ella looked up, “Hey there.”

Bria walked in, “I want to show you something.”

Ella put her work down and stood, walking over to her, “Did you come up with something new?”

Bria nodded and showed Ella the new line she wanted to add.

Ella’s eyes widened. “This is amazing Bria. I love it!”

Bria beamed, “Thank you! I got the idea from a customer today.”

Ella smiled, “Well I think it’s going to be perfect.”

Bria hugged Ella and then walked to her office, putting the pages down and the sewing she neglected.

She caught up on her work and when she looked at the clock again, it was the end of the day.

She stood and got her purse and walked to the front of the store.

Gareth was there, waiting for her like he said. He had a massive bouquet of red roses and pink daisies in his hand.

She walked toward him, “Those are amazing! Oh Gareth!”

He grinned, “Only the best for my girl.”

He leaned in to give her a quick kiss and she heard the door open and she felt her cheeks warm when she turned and saw the girls standing in the door.

Lola stepped forward first, “So, you must be Gareth.”

Gareth nodded, “That’s me. I take it Bria told you about me.”

Lola nodded, “A little. Thank you for saving her last night. You can’t know how much that means.”

He smiled, “I would do anything for her.”

Ella and Winnie walked up, “You won’t hurt her will you?” Ella asked and Gareth shook his head, “I would cut my arm off before hurting her. She is safe with me.”

Ella nodded and Winnie said, “Be kind to her. She is the best woman we know.”

Gareth put his hand to his heart, “I swear. She is the most important person in my life. She will be taken care of.”

The girls nodded and then walked inside. Lola winked at her over her shoulder and Bria turned to look at Gareth. “Sorry. They are a little overprotective.”

Gareth looked at her, “I would expect nothing less. They have your best interest at heart. And that matters to me.”

She smiled at him and then he took her fingers, “Do you want me to put those in my truck?”

She looked down at the flowers in her arms, “Can we just run them to my house?”
