Chapter Six
Gareth
Two Weeks Later
Spending every single day with his girl and every night with her in his bed was pretty much heaven.
He would stop by her boutique to take her lunch, or to just kiss her.
Then he would go back to working out at the gym.
He had a big fight coming up and he needed to focus, but it was hard with his girl taking over his every thought.
He knew that he had to win this fight. He wanted to finish up the renovations on his house so he could move his girl in.
And he wanted to be able to buy his girl the biggest fucking rock he could. Okay, he already bought the thing, but still.
He wanted everyone to know she was taken.
He had gotten to know her friends over the last two weeks and Lola told him what kind of ring she wanted.
He had bought it the day after they made love and it burned a hole in his pocket every time he saw her.
He wanted to make it special though.
He had dreams of seeing her in the ring and nothing else.
It was his favorite fantasy. Hell, his imagination had gone wild since their first time making love and they had made love in every single room in his house and in her office and her room.
He loved how confident she had become since they started dating and he wanted her to use that.
To show her every day how beautiful she was. Because she was.
He had gotten her a backstage pass to his fight and had his crew make her a custom jacket with his name on it.
He didn’t want anyone thinking she was up for grabs. He knew the type of men that came to fights and he wouldn’t leave anything to chance.

Tonight was the night. He was ready. He had studied his opponent and had been in the gym relentlessly for three days.
He had done all he could to not make a mistake tonight. He needed to win this fight.
For his girl.
And he would. He was in the small room that he had been given and his team was there.
Declan was taping his hands and giving him the pep talk of his life.
Gareth took it all in and stayed laser focused on all that he had learned about his opponent.
They called him Mike ‘the Tree’ Kaufman, because he was unmoving, but Gareth wasn’t called Silver for nothing.
He was quick and deadly and would do all he could to take the other man down.
He had his friend Trevor sit with Bria and her friends. He needed someone to keep an eye on them.
Since he couldn’t. And Trevor was more than happy to take up the task.
