Epilogue
Bria
Three Months Later
They got married one month after Gareth had popped the question and the girls helped her to design and sew the perfect dress.
It had off the shoulder sleeves, ended in a ‘V’ on her chest and twisted around at her waist. From there it flowed into a full skirt.
It was solid white and had a sheer overlay on top that was sparkly.
And it fit her like a glove. Of course.
They had their wedding on the beach behind Gareth’s house.
It was just them and the girls from her boutique and their guys.
That’s it. And it was perfect.
Lola was her maid of honor, and the other girls were her bridesmaids.
They all wore light pinks and blues.
Declan was Gareth’s best man, and the other guys stood by him.
One of the guys offered to walk her down the aisle, but Gareth insisted he do it.
Her parents didn’t approve of their match, and refused to come and Bria was sad for a while, but her real family made it worth it.
Lola’s guy, Tyler threw flowers down and made everyone in their tiny audience laugh.
And then Gareth walked them down the aisle.
As soon as she walked out of the door, he was pulling her into his arms.
“You are so fucking beautiful it hurts.”
She smiled so wide that it hurt her cheeks.
As they walked down the aisle, Gareth whispered to her how much he loved her.
How beautiful she was, how perfect.
She never got tired of hearing any of it. He was her knight in shining armor and she loved him.
They made it to the small tree that was covered in flowers that they were getting married in front of.
The priest smiled at them, “I welcome you all today to marry Gareth and Bria. We are here to celebrate them.”
“Gareth has asked to say their own vows.”
Gareth pulled a paper out of his shirt, “My love. I wanted to tell you how much you mean to me, but it doesn’t mean anything until I prove it. You are perfect to me. I love everything about you and will do so until we die. I love you. Thank you for agreeing to marry me and for making me the happiest man in the world.”
She smiled at him, “Gareth. I love you. You are so wonderful to me. Showing me how beautiful I am. And because of that, I have become a better person. I will always love you for that. For showing me that I am worthy. I love you Gareth. My own warrior.”
The priest asked if they took each other and they both answered, “I do.”
Then Gareth was kissing her.
She was so happy to be his wife and couldn’t wait for the next step.
She stopped taking her birth control so that when it was time, they could have a baby.
She knew that Gareth would be the best dad.
She saw it when she went to the gym. He helped the younger kids and she fell more in love with him every day.
As they kissed and sealed their union, she knew she was the luckiest girl in the world.
He was all hers and she would never look back.
