When he looked up at her, she smiled down at him.
“I love you.”
She smiled, “I love you too.”
He walked them to his room, his cock still buried deep inside her and put them both in bed.
“I know you don’t want to see your father again, but do you think we should at least let him know we are getting married? Give him the chance to be there?”
Eva went stiff in his arms, “I don’t think so. My father never went to anything when I was younger, so I don’t see how that would change with us getting married. He would probably be thrilled that I’m one step further out of his hair and life. I haven’t heard from him or Payslee since I left to live with Brooke.”
Soren looked down at her, hating that her father could ever treat her that way. She had told him about her parents when they were in bed one night and Soren was appalled.
His parents loved her and had practically adopted her as their daughter.
Well she would be, but as his wife.
He ran a thumb across her cheek, “I wish they were different for you. That you had the family you always wanted.”
She shook her head, “Family isn’t always blood. And I am getting one. A real one. With you. Your mom has been so sweet to me, as has Shelley and your dad. I want him to be the one to walk me down the aisle. Not someone who never gave me the time of day. I learned a long time ago that he wasn’t my dad. That he was only there to throw money my way. And I used to hate him. And Payslee. But the staff became my family and they treated me better than my sperm donor ever could. I knew what love is because of them and because of you. You are my family. My life and my love. I finally get to have the family I always wanted and it’s all because of you.”
He leaned down and kissed her hard, moving inside her once more.
When they both came, and she started to fall asleep in his arms, he pulled out of her and lay beside her, her head pillowed against his chest.
“I love you Eva.”
She blinked her eyes open sleepily, “I love you too.”
Then she was asleep and he held her close. She was right. Her dad was not a dad. Couldn’t be called that.
He was only her sperm donor. And Soren was only grateful for that. They would make their own family.
And they would.
