She felt her hands drop to her sides, “Oh.”

He gestured at his arm, “I know I’m not able to do much, but I can watch over you.”

She bit her lip, “You were able to dance with that little girl. She is so cute.”

Jet smiled, showing off those dimples. “That’s Aria. My little sister.”

“Oh my gosh. That’s the cutest thing ever.”

He grinned and she wanted to melt into him.

“Will you take a walk with me?”

She nodded and he held his hand out to her and she took it. He laced his fingers through hers and then started walking around.

“Do you have any other siblings?” She asked and he nodded, “A younger brother. Bo.”

“Bo. I like that. You have fun names.”

He laughed, “That was my dad’s fault. I’m Jet, then there is Bowing. And Aria. That means air in a different language. He is an airline pilot that also flew planes in the Air Force.”

She smiled, “I like it. Cool names for a fun family. You and your dad are so sweet with Aria. I love it.”

“It’s kind of hard not to be. She is the best. She was born with cerebral palsy. She was a surprise for my parents later in life and my mom had a lot of complications. And it affected Aria. But she was the best thing that happened to us. We have all loved having her with us and we wouldn’t be who we are without her.”

Farren felt herself melt even more with that and she said, “Is she in regular school?”

Jet nodded, “She is. Seventh grade this year.”

“I love that. She is the cutest. I want to meet her.”

Jet smiled over at her, “That can be arranged.”

Farren laughed and they kept walking. “How many siblings do you have?” He asked her and she said, “I have four brothers. You know Harrison. He is the oldest. Then there is Hudson and Jameson and Stetson.”

He looked at her in shock, “That’s a lot of brothers.”

She nodded, “A lot. They are always in my business. I never was allowed to date or anything.”

“I don’t mind that.”

She rolled her eyes and swatted his arm. “Such a boy.”

He chuckled, and shook his head, “So, older brothers. They were overprotective right?”

She nodded, “That’s an understatement. But I didn’t mind it. They weren’t allowed to date either. And it helped me focus on my studies. So, I was able to get done with school sooner.”

He looked over at her, “What do you do?”

“I work with special needs kids. I teach kindergarten at their school.”

He stopped walking, “You teach special needs kids?”

She nodded, “I love it. So much.”

He shook his head, “I thought I couldn’t like you more.”

She felt her face heat and looked down and he dropped her hand and lifted her chin, “That’s not a bad thing sweetheart. In fact, I love it.”
