EPILOGUE

ARIA

They got married a few days before Valentine’s Day and had everyone there and she was beyond grateful for her mother, sisters in law, Raegan and Trixie and the other wives that she was good friends with.

Arielle had insisted that she make her dress and Aria loved the dress that she made.

It was beautiful. It was sheer lace on her arms and covering the front of the white dress underneath.

The top of the lace came to her neck, where the inside white dress was a heart neck line that covered her breasts and showed good cleavage.

And the back was bare.

It didn’t have a train and was a slight mermaid dress at the bottom but it didn’t flare out so much that she couldn’t use her crutches.

Aria loved it and when she had her hair down, you could only see the very bottom of her back peeking out, but she wanted to drive Ryland mad, so she had her hair up and she carried purple roses and white daisies and lots of greenery in her flowers.

She had designed a headpiece to wear that circled her head and had small amethyst flowers in it.

It looked amazing and when Aria walked down the aisle to Ryland, he looked like he wanted to run to her side, but he stayed where he was.

She loved it and their vows were beautiful.

Ryland went first and said, “I never thought I deserved a woman, let alone one that is as perfect as you. I used to secretly hope that one day I would meet and angel and she drove her broken car right into my life. And for that I will forever be grateful that I can fix cars, or I would have never met the love of my life. Thanks dad.”

The people laughed in the crowd and Aria smiled and Ryland went on, “I will never take it for granted and I’m so glad that I get to make you mine and give you my last name and live my life with you at my side. I will always put you first and make you my priority. And I will never regret it. Not once. I love you Aria. I will love you until I take my last breath and then I will wait on the other side until you are in my arms again. Our love is strong enough to last all of our lifetimes. And I can’t fucking wait for each one. I love you.”

She laughed through her tears and said, “I can’t believe I get a knight in shining armor like you. That I have you by my side, loving me and showing me what it’s like to have my dreams come true. When I used to dream about my dream man, he never even came close to you. Never measured up. And I’m glad. That was a dream and you are all real. I can’t wait to be yours and to live my life with you and to have children and fill our lives with love and happiness. I love you. I have from the beginning and I will until the end.”

They said their “I do’s,” and Ryland put her ring on her finger.

The square amethyst sat right in the center and the two triangle diamonds were on either side as if in tribute.

The outside band twisted into two and one had diamonds that wrapped it and the other was smooth.

She loved it and it suited her and her tastes. And she got so many compliments on it that she had to start carrying cards to show off her work.

It was her favorite ring she had ever made and the minute it was on her finger, she knew that it was definitely meant to be hers and hers alone.

Ryland knew it too and she was glad that her man knew her so well to let her design her own ring.

After they said their vows and were pronounced man and wife, it was onto their reception. Ryland snuck them away and had his way with her and then he took them on a vacation to a small island off Florida.

She loved being with Ryland and he carried her across the sand and through the water. He never let her be in danger.

And when they got back, they moved into Ryland’s house and Rick got a small apartment in town and in March, they got some good news.

Aria found out she was pregnant. She was over the moon and so was Ryland.

They went to the doctor and her doctor, a nice woman named Ann, told her that she could carry to term if she was really careful and came in more than normal toward the end.

Just to be safe. Aria agreed wholeheartedly and as the months went on, her stomach grew and she loved feeling the baby move.

They found out it was a girl and Aria was so excited to have her own baby to hold and love.

Ryland treated her like a glass doll, bringing her and Raegan lunch, making sure the house was always spotless and rubbing her sore feet every single night.

She loved how sweet he was to her and when he read to their baby and she kicked happily? It was Aria’s favorite thing.
