Truth sighed and put her chin in her hand, “I wish I knew.”

Honor smiled, “You will. We just have to find your knight in shining armor.”

Truth snorted, “Yours isn’t a knight. He is more like a wolf. Waiting to eat you up.”

Honor’s face went even more pink, “Good lord. You read too many romance books.”

Truth shrugged, “I have to listen to something when I sew.”

Honor shook her head and laughed and Truth said, “Seriously. I want to find one.”

Honor reached over and grabbed Truth’s hand.

“Should we do something tonight?”

Truth nodded, “Yes! Please!”

Honor grinned and texted Gage and he texted back, “I love you.”

She smiled and she and Truth went to dinner and she loved spending time with her sister.

When they got home, Truth looked at her, “Are you not going to Gage’s?”

Honor shook her head, “I didn’t want to abandon you.”

Truth grinned, “Go on. I’m okay.”

Honor tried to argue, but Truth pushed her toward the door and Honor hugged her sister and then rushed out the door and drove to Gage’s house.

She knocked on the front door and waited for him to come and he opened it a minute later, holding a rose and wearing a pair of black slacks and a white shirt with a tie.

He handed her the rose and she brought it to her nose and smelled it.

“Thank you.”

He laced their fingers together and then brought her in the house and shut the door behind her and flipped the lock.

Then he stood behind her and covered her eyes, and then led her upstairs.

She shivered as he kissed the back of her neck and she smelled roses.

When he lifted his hand at the top of the stairs, she gasped when she saw the rose petals on the floor and small tea candles on the ground leading to the bedroom.

He pulled her toward it and she put her hand to her mouth when she saw the room full of vases of flowers.

“It’s beautiful.”

Gage stepped in front of her and then sank to one knee and her eyes went wide.

He pulled a black box out of his pocket and flicked it open and she covered her mouth with her right hand as Gage had grabbed her left.

“Honor. There aren’t enough words in any dictionary in the world to describe my love for you. To thank you for coming into my life and making me open my eyes to the world around me. You are my everything. The reason I breathe. The beat of my heart and the woman who owns both my heart and soul. Will you marry me?”

She nodded and then uncovered her mouth, “Yes,” she whispered and he grinned and slid the ring on her finger and then stood, kissing her.

She kissed him back, winding her arms around his neck and then she pulled back, looking down at the ring she now wore.

It was a massive yellow diamond that was square cut and had two trilliant cut diamonds on either side and diamonds that wove down the silver band.
