Faye teared up and gave Honor a small bracelet that she had been saving to give to Renee when she got married.

She bought it when they were ten and Renee used to wear it around the house, showing it and her ‘wedding’ dress off.

She used to make a veil with toilet paper and made fake flowers and he would walk her down the aisle to her ‘husband.’

It was usually her big stuffed bear, but still. She was serious about the ceremony and he wanted to make her happy, so he played along.

And seeing the bracelet on Honor’s wrist, as her something borrowed and something blue, as the gems in the bracelet were sapphires, it made him smile.

Renee was all around them.

Honor asked him what her favorite color was and he told her and Honor’s sister, Truth made her, their friend Jillian and Lorielle dresses of that color.

When the girls walked down the aisle, they held small bouquets of Renee’s favorite flower and Gage loved that she was there.

In heart and spirit.

Then Honor came down the aisle.

She was on her dad’s arm and she looked like a fucking vision.

Her dress was not white, but it looked like it was light pink and it was made up of layer upon layer of pink sheer tulle.

She had told him what it was called when she found it and he didn’t even know what it was.

But now he saw. And she was a vision.

Her shoulders were bare and the gown dipped low, showing off her cleavage and the scar she wasn’t ashamed of.

And the top was made of all sorts of lacy flowers and it was tight to her until the waist.

Her hair was down and she had a long veil clipped into her hair and when she was at his side, he grabbed her hands to anchor him.

Then the priest, Egan, one of his cousins, stepped forward and said, “We welcome you all to the union of Gage O’Brien to Honor Myers. These two have asked me to officiate and I am honored to do so. Gage has met his match in Honor and we all know that he has changed since they met. He isn’t the same man and we are grateful for it. And Honor has been a gift to not only him, but to our family as well. Gage has asked that they say their own vows, Gage?”

Gage looked into Honor’s beautiful eyes and smiled down at her, “My beautiful Honor. My sunshine. You have given me the world and I can only hope to one day give it back to you. To give you all the happiness you have given me and to keep your light shining always. I love you and will always love you. And I can’t wait for the future. To see what it holds in a year from now, five years from now, or twenty. I can’t wait to call you mine for always.”

He slid her ring back on her finger and the band he had bought to accompany it.

She looked down at it and then smiled and said, “Gage. My handsome man. The love of my life and the reason I smile every single day. I didn’t know what true happiness was until you came into my life. You show me that I am worth everything and I can’t thank you enough for it. You are the person I was always meant to be with and the one I am thrilled that I get to share my life with. I love you. I can’t wait to have your last name as mine.”

She slid the ring on his finger and he knew it would never come off. And then they were saying, “I do.” And kissing each other.

He kept her by his side the entire night and she was either in his lap or in his arms.

And he didn’t care. When they got a minute alone, he lifted her in his arms and made her hold her dress up so he could eat her to completion, and then he fucked her until they both came.

When they were cleaning up, she said, “I’m pregnant.”

He went still, and she nodded, “I shouldn’t be shocked, it’s not like we ever used a condom.”

He shook his head, “And we never will.”

She smiled, “Are you happy?”

He grinned, “My wife is having my baby. I get to see you grow round and beautiful with our babies. Fuck yes, I’m happy sunshine.”

She kissed him again and then he led her out to their reception and they danced the night away.
