And then a few weeks after their wedding, they found out they were having a baby boy.
He knew he wanted to honor his cousin and best friend, and Gavin was shocked, but loved that he was having his own namesake.
Gage looked around his house and loved that it wasn’t empty, that it was full of life and sunshine.
Literally.
Honor made him take down the blackout curtains and he would give her whatever she wanted.
He didn’t care. As long as she was happy.
He even went with her to the shelter several more times and they ended up adopting Rebel.
He loved Honor and she had worked so hard to get him to trust her and he did.
Gage got him to trust him as well and Rebel slept on their bed at the foot every single night and was so protective of Honor and Gage loved it.
Rebel would snuggle against Honor’s baby bump and Gage knew that Rebel would be just as protective over their little one as he was.
And with Rebel in the house and watching over Honor, he didn’t worry that anyone would get close to his woman.
He worked with Sean and they got closer to the Popov’s with each passing day.
He wanted to find the fucking men that were trying to get them to hurt.
And he refused to let them get close to his woman.
His family.
He still couldn’t believe this was his life and he would never let it go.
Never let anyone touch it.
Epilogue
Honor
Ten Years Later
After having two kids, Honor found out that her body struggled with pregnancy and Gage worried too much.
He told her that it was too nerve wracking and he didn’t like seeing her in pain, so he didn’t want her to go through birth again.
She was happy with their two little ones anyway.
Gavin and Faith Renee.
Gage was a pushover for their kids and her.
He did anything and everything for them and Honor had caught him a few times having a tea party with Faith.
He even had a tutu on and a tiara. Along with some jewelry.
He sat patiently with her while she poured him tea and gave him a cookie and Honor took a few pictures of him.
Rebel sat with them and Faith would wrap a feather boa around Rebel’s neck and he sat patiently while she did so.
He never was far from either of the kids even though he was getting older and Honor loved Rebel and his sweet, sweet soul.
