She shook her head, and Bo said, “He took me flying. He said he was proud of me. That I was growing into a good man. That started my love of flying. My dad is a good guy. He is down to earth and so is my mom.”
Avery smiled, “He sounds like it. I’m glad you have great parents.”
Bo grinned, “I do. And I’m glad you have such a good mom. She is wonderful. I know that if she didn’t allow it, I wouldn’t be here right now.”
Avery lifted an eyebrow, “Really?”
Bo nodded, “Really. She had me spilling my life story to her last night. She didn’t want you to get hurt like she did. She wanted to be certain you were the only girl in my life. And you are. Hudson told her as well.”
Avery’s smile widened, “My mom is my best friend. And if she approves, then so do I.”
Bo leaned forward, cupping her face softly and kissing her, “Good. You aren’t getting away from me. Not ever.”
A throat cleared, and Bo looked up to see West standing over their table.
He was grinning, “What’s going on here?”
Bo leaned back in his seat as his friend slid in beside him, and Cord sat next to Avery, much to Bo’s annoyance.
Avery smiled at Cord, and Bo bit back a growl.
“West, this is my girl, Avery Jenkins.”
West’s eyes went wide, “Seriously? Your girl? Really?”
Bo nodded, “Do you think I just go around kissing random girls?”
West shook his head, “You are right. But still, it’s a shock.”
Bo smirked, “Well, don’t be too shocked. You will meet yours soon enough.”
West’s eyebrows went high on his head, and then his eyes narrowed, “What do you mean?”
Bo looked over at Avery, and she smiled when he said, “Do we tell him?”
She shrugged and then nodded, a grin spreading across her face.
West nudged him with his shoulder, “What is going on?”
Bo grinned, “We met, actually,Imet your girl today.”
West went still, “What the fuck? You did? Where is she? Who is she? Tell me her name. Right now.”
Avery said, “Her name is Kynlee Hall. She works with me at the salon we both own.”
West stood, “Is she there now?”
Avery shook her head, “She isn’t. But she is just as anxious to meet you.”
West sat back down, “Will you tell me about her?”
Bo shook his head, “We are sort of in the middle of something here.”
West growled at him, “I know that. I just need to know where I can find her.”
Cord spoke up, “Kynlee Hall? She was so nice to me when I first got to school.”
West looked at his brother, “You know her?”
