Cord nodded, “She and Avery were seniors when I was a freshman. They were really nice to me. Kynlee helped me when I got lost once.”
West sighed, “I’m begging you to tell me about her.”
Avery smiled, “She is pretty wonderful. She and I have been friends since we were kids and she is down to earth, funny, beautiful and pretty much the most amazing nail tech this world has ever seen.”
West’s eyebrows drew together, “What’s a nail tech?”
Avery laughed, “She does nails. Paints them, designs them? Any of that?”
West shook his head, and Avery smiled, “It’s okay. We forgive you for not knowing. But she is amazing. Just know.”
West sat back, “Does she live near here?”
Bo laughed, “Whoa. Chill. After we eat, I’m sure that Avery wouldn’t mind introducing you to her friend.”
Avery nodded, “She really wants to meet you.”
“She does?”
“She very much does. She has wanted her prince charming since we were younger.”
West’s face went serious, “Please take me to her. I need her.”
Avery’s face was full of compassion, “How about I have her join us? Since you are too?”
Bo growled, and she looked over at him, “We are finding them, love. Like my mom did for us. It’s the least we can do. Kynlee has done so much for me and I know West has done a lot for you. You told me yourself.”
Bo sighed and nodded, “I promised to buy Kynlee dinner.”
Avery pulled out her phone and called Kynlee.
Bo could hear Kynlee screeching on the other side of the table, and West grinned so wide that Bo didn’t even know he had that many teeth.
Cord just laughed, and when Avery hung up the phone, Bo gestured to Angela, “I think we will need a bigger table.”
Angela winked at them, “On it.”
CHAPTER6
AVERY
She didn’t know that her life would change so much when she woke up.
But here she was, at dinner with the man of her dreams, and now Kynlee was about to meet hers.
She grinned as they moved to a bigger table, and Bo pulled her into the seat next to his and wrapped his arm around her.
“I didn’t like seeing Cord next to you.”
She shook her head, “Jealous? He is younger than me. And besides, you said I was taken.”
Bo growled, “You are. And fuck yes, I’m jealous. You are my girl. I saw the way he looked at you.”
Avery rolled her eyes, “Like a friend? He was a good kid when we were in school.”
Bo leaned over, “There goes that mouth. You are going to get a red ass if you don’t stop the sass.”
She shivered, and he whispered even lower, “My girl likes that huh?”
